I've also received the similar stupid email from SG VO asking for me and my wife HSC & SSC certificates and transcripts. How did you send your documents. By post or by email attachment.

I'm waiting for the translated and notarized docs by the uni, will collect those tomorrow and then send via courier, tracking link to be sent in my reply email to SG VO.

You have been asked to send spouse uni certificate and for me hsc & ssc certificate. Strange. Anyway ... I sent a CSE mentioning that I got a request to send additional docs please let me know how to send them .. by CSE or by courier or by email reply with attachment. Let's see their reply.

Bye the way, did you check your ECAS. Did you see the second line...

Vai,can u please share us the email ...Also a ques - have not u sent SSC and HSC educational docs during application?

And why only SSC and HSC docs for both of U--any reason u r guesing?

Because genius Visa officer realized that may be I didn't finished my school. My parent put me directly to university. I realised why SG is too slow. They chase for unnecessary things which is not required at all.

To add little more on the info from ashif, here is some data released by Canada govt under Open Govt policy.

CIC-Data_zps04c100ab.png

There are 516 cases pending selection decision and 234 pending final decision.
While from Jan-Sep 2013, SGVO received 108 applications (cases) while in the same time frame they processed 643 cases.

Based on this two info, my conclusion is, all pre-2013 cases i.e 234 pending cases will be processed in 2014 (as SGVO processed 643 cases last yr) and another 400 cases which is 80% of the applications submitted in Jan-Sep time frame will be processed in 2014.

SGVO issued 1939 CORP in Jan-Sep time while this year allotment is 2180 against 2225 pending persons.

However, my interpretation of selection decision and final decision might be wrong.

Thank u for sharing ur analysis. Ekhon ashar alo chokhe dekhchi!! +1 :)

Nope Rahman vai... :D

Document checklist is instructing us only to send "For you as Principal Applicant"- ECA along with your foreign educational credentials. Not for spouse also. Spouse is not indicated to any of this 13th number point of checklist. Below is the reference:

I have some different checklist in hand. it saying documents for both of applicant and spouse. also mentioned all level of education and professional certificates. IMM 5612(05-2013) E. please go to 13 for reference.

Ok Brothers lets clear all confusion now..

When I applied (only me) on 5th May 2013, i have checked that available checklist was newly edited and had the footer-IMM 5612(05-2013) E. This ckecklist instructs us to provide for both.

May be on Jun/Jul '13 (cant remember the exact date), they have revised the checklist again with same footer-IMM 5612(05-2013) E. But this time, they withdrawn spouse's doc requirement. I can remeber, this was the only modification on this revised version.

On the later stage (on OCT 13) i sent my newly married spouse docs, I followed the revised checklist and didnt sent sposue's educational credentials. Current version-IMM 5612(03-2014) E is also have the same requirement now.

So this confusion arises just for carelessness of CIC, which suffers many of applicant during openeing of FSW13. They updated their forms even after next day of their declared date -4th May 13

A reasonable amount of applicant have rejected just for sending previous ver. of Schedule A form which they updated on 5th May...Which was really embarassing.

Dear All,

I have received email yesterday from SGVO and they asked for educational documents and IELTS for spouse. Though I have not claimed points about spouse IELTS, what is the probable reason for demanding spouse IELTS from VO and how much scores they expect?

Please give your valuable suggestions and inform me if anyone have face this type of IELTS request for spouse from VO.

Thanks

:-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X...He he SGVO...Nothing to say... :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X

Anyway brother dont get worried. This is nothing but an absurd asking from SGVO. This should not hamper ur application if u are lacking this requirement.

wim2147 u r the third applicant so far, asking for the educational docs of spouse. But for the spouse's IELTS, u r the first one.

In my opinion, email to Singapore keeping ur today's email on chain mail immediately. Considering u dont have ur spouse IELTS right now.

Ask them, --"Since this was not mandatory to submit spouse's IELTS result during opening of FSW 2013. And as u r not claiming spouse's five point, so should it be a mandatory requirement for u or can be ignored considering ur situation. Please Suggest under this circumstance."

Also write ur UCI and name, DOB.

U can email them to the below ID's (Keep on "To" in the same email). Hopefully u will have a positive feedback from them.

singapore-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca

and
SPOREIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca

If dont rcv reply within one week, u can send a CSE. Later u can send the other docs, explaining a cover letter that docs u have not in ur hand.

How many days u have been provided on the email?

Keep praying for each other..
