Was wondering will it actually take 28 months ? ... I'll be going mad If I do not hear anything by next month ???

What about minister's 1 year ?

Dear vai, I think this processing time will not be applied for FSW13. I still strongly beleive FSW13 applicants will be processed below this mentioned time (may be within 1year or little bit more)..

May allah bless us all along with SGVO officers...

Anyway brother dont get worried. This is nothing but an absurd asking from SGVO. This should not hamper ur application if u are lacking this requirement.

wim2147 u r the third applicant so far, asking for the educational docs of spouse. But for the spouse's IELTS, u r the first one.

In my opinion, email to Singapore keeping ur today's email on chain mail immediately. Considering u dont have ur spouse IELTS right now.

Ask them, --"Since this was not mandatory to submit spouse's IELTS result during opening of FSW 2013. And as u r not claiming spouse's five point, so should it be a mandatory requirement for u or can be ignored considering ur situation. Please Suggest under this circumstance."

Also write ur UCI and name, DOB.

U can email them to the below ID's (Keep on "To" in the same email). Hopefully u will have a positive feedback from them.

singapore-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca

and
SPOREIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca

If dont rcv reply within one week, u can send a CSE. Later u can send the other docs, explaining a cover letter that docs u have not in ur hand.

How many days u have been provided on the email?

Keep praying for each other..

Dear Brother,

Thanks for your reply but their email language was so hard.

They have given the timeline of 60 days and mentioned that they will not reply for any query. Also they mentioned that failure to submit of requested documents will result in the refusal of application and need to submit detailed explanation for lacking any document. In that scenario, I think they will consider any query within this time frame.

As I want to submit the IELTS doc, how much score they expect?

Thanks

If u want to claim spouse's 5 point min threshold is CLB 4 which is equivalent to:

CLB Level 4: Points Per Ability:
Listening: 4.5
Reading: 3.5
Writing: 4.0
Speaking: 4.0

A. Your accompanying spouse or common-law partner's level of language proficiency

Your accompanying spouse or common-law partner's level of language proficiency in either English or French is at the CLB 4 level or higher in all four language abilities (speaking, listening, reading and writing)."

Hi

I think they are asking the certs for all those who did not claim spouse points. I don't know why, but may be to see if they can survive in Canada. something like that?

My assumption is since I have claimed spouse points, they may not ask the certs for me. Let's see.

Thanks

Aashif bro, u are doing a good job here. +1 for you. Also for ur previous question, I haven't decided between Canada or Aus, suggestions are surely welcome. I will be doing my first port of entry to Aus this June .

Thanks vai, though i didnt receive ur +1 yet... :P

Anyway different people have different idea about Aus and CA.

In my personal view/experience from family (my elder brothers) , compare to living expense and educational expenses CA is smoother than AUS... :)

It may be from SGVO point of view applicant's total points below the pass points (67), thats why they have mentioned for spouse IELTS.

That is right, but how about the cold winter days ? Or for that matter the whole year? What's your Brother's take on these, I was thinking is the weather really tough for us to carry out day to day lives ? How is your Brother's experience in this matter ?

Was thinking the same ...May be SGVO guys are finding/confusing less score for ur file that CIC found 67. Thus asking (not denying ) for more point to be claimed by you.

Atleast they did not planned to return back from CA due to cold... :P

In my surroundings none of any complained that survival is too hard due to cold on there...
They dont have much complain even on -40C. ..

Actually temp is differing a lot to their different provinces. So its up to u which province u r selecting...

Hello friends, I have been following this forum for quite some time. I did not get any AOR letter from SGVO (at least my consultant didnot get one). I read SGVO is not sending AORs but I can see lot of people got AORs.

I am also planning to apply for CAIPS/GCMS today. Have anyone here applying for this at this time? My ECAS status is showing received on 24th May 2013 and thats all. I am really worried.

Appreciate your responses...Thanks!
