hi everyone,

i'm new here in this forum.. Just wanna ask where should I pass my application for FSW. Should I send my application forms and documents to Centralized Intake Office (P.O. BOX 7500, Sydney, NS B1P 0A9 Canada)? Or can I just drop it off to Canadian Embassy in Singapore?

Most probably u r fillipino citizen, then u have a good news that if u apply under SGVO then probably ur file will transfer to faster VO -Manila..

To add little more on the info from ashif, here is some data released by Canada govt under Open Govt policy.

There are 516 cases pending selection decision and 234 pending final decision.
While from Jan-Sep 2013, SGVO received 108 applications (cases) while in the same time frame they processed 643 cases.

Based on this two info, my conclusion is, all pre-2013 cases i.e 234 pending cases will be processed in 2014 (as SGVO processed 643 cases last yr) and another 400 cases which is 80% of the applications submitted in Jan-Sep time frame will be processed in 2014.

SGVO issued 1939 CORP in Jan-Sep time while this year allotment is 2180 against 2225 pending persons.

However, my interpretation of selection decision and final decision might be wrong.

I've just received an email from VO asking for additional document, they asked for my spouse's university transcripts and degree.

Does anybody here received similar request?

FYI, my appl filed 23Sep2013, PER received 17Dec2013, AOR received 12Feb2014, VO: Singapore.

Though it is one kind of stupid mail,, it give us positive sign that SGVO now deals with FSW13 applicants.

U are now the second applicant and first regular applicant (in terms of Date of app rcvd) asking this docs. This signify that they are now working with ur files ..

That make us optimistic too... I already mentioned-- I think Visa officers of SGVO (may be not all of them) is still unaware that Spouse educational documents are not mentioned on FSW13 checklist which was a required items on earlier times.

Send those docs ASAP...in my opinion send those docs by courier...U may also raise a CSE/email asking suggestion for sending those docs.

Vai,can u please share us the email ...Also a ques - have not u sent SSC and HSC educational docs during application?

And why only SSC and HSC docs for both of U--any reason u r guesing?

Long time no see!

Brohter I am sure this is not sealed copy from University rather just a normal photocopy. Since we sent our educational docs as photocopy. Its better to notarize those photocopies (not mandatory if they dont ask for that).

Last week I received my Aus PR. ( for my whole family). Still waiting for some good news from SGVO as far as Canada PR is concerned.

Congrats Ishuraj vai for ur Aus PR...So whats ur plan betn Aus and CA when u have both PR?

As far as i know several applicant of this thread are on a hesitation with the same situation.. So can u plz share ur opinion/plan... ;D
