IT SEEMS THAT THERE ARE MORE JOBS IN TORONTO FOR MECHANICAL ENGINEERS

I don't think 1 year is a ample of experience to issue a PR that to for a Mechanical Engineers. Even 2+ experience people are consider juniors in this field. They learn basics and are considered as trainees. Have a look at spreadsheet to have a better idea about no.of years people having work experience in this field and other fields. I dint mean to degrade you.

Ya that might be the case. Mech Engineers do need lot of experience and exposure in there respective fields. 1 year of exp doesnt sound right to me also. Even to get Licensed we need loads of experience.

Yes 1 year experience or 10 year experience doesn't really matter to cic, what really matter to cic is applicants scoring atleast 67 points and submtting completed application before the cap limit.

First, why do Canadian govt wish to give us PR? Because they need people who can work for them and who had amount of work exp and knowledge in their respective fields. Secondly, why should they mention about work experience 5-10 years? Definitely they will not because Immigration is a source of Income. why do the want to loose it. Do u mean that people who cross 67 points get their visa stamped? Absolutely not. 67 points is not the criteria. They are base on amount of Work experience gained, Job roles and responsibilities, IELTS scores(Especially Listening and Speaking), Back ground checks, Funds etc

I am saying eligibility criteria to apply for Canada is 67 points. It doesnt mean that if we had 67 points we get our visa stamped. Correct me if I am wrong

Core fields like Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering fields need lots of work experience. I think you people definitely aware of this. I wonder how can Canadian govt issues a PR. Wat does we learn from 1-2 years of work experience and how can we sustain and work in Canadian Industries is my basic question. Are Canadian immigration department not aware of that?

say you have 77 points with 5 years of work experience and I have 67 points with 1 whole year of work experience and we both are under the cap...fulfilling all the required documentation, profound knowledge of listening/speaking, proper back ground checks, ample amount of money to show for funds.
Now tell me Will I be refused on the basis of lacking less experience than you ? ? if so, on what grounds they would do that ? because for every rejection they do they have to brief the specific reason

Rahul, i will give you one example.
lets say X applicant is having 25 years of work experience but he failed to score 6 band in each module of IELTS or he failed to score atleast 67 points, can he apply as FSW?.....
Thats how FSWP works.

No he cant apply. thats wat I am trying to say you. It doesnt mean I scored some 90 points and had 1 or 2 years work exp they will issue visa. With that 1-2 exp I find myself hard to find a job in Canada. Immigration department are aware of that but they dont tell you because they loose money if you dont apply. to quote you guys a real example, a good friend of mine managed to get a govt related job (in CANADA) having a degree in mechanical engineering with all most 0 years of relevant work experience....all he had was a good reference and he was on dependant status.
its all fate when it comes to jobs @ Canada.

Everything should definitely be balanced and according to the requirement of cic. I have seen cases who scored 6 band in IELTS and they got their visa stamped.
