Well I can't pre-pone the application as I am still due to receive my WES and IELTS score card, and I should say I am the unluckiest one among all...having the sufficient degree(2132) and I gave IELTS in the begining of the year and scored 21 points in it...but, I was still short of 2 points to reach 67...and eventually I got demotivated with the delays from CIC with the release of the list, even listened to BS assumptions from a BS friend saying fsw is impossible..... but some where I had a little faith, mechanicals are a definite shortage in canada....still I didn't re-sit......immediately or I failed to score enough in IELTS on first try.....now I can't do anything else other than to wait until they arrive......Fingers crossed...IF NOT FSW, I DONNO WHAT ELSE TO DO......

off course you are right, 7216 was a hot one last time.....but it didn't mentioned about the specific degree requirement as of now for 2132...where one should have mechanical engineering degree......and I don't think 200 visitors would all be different people.....I am not saying YES there is lot of chance....I know it'll be late by the end of june....only faith is what I keep on moving with....it is NOW OR NEVER...

@ Go-Canada-Go

Yaar! I think 21 points in IELTS is lot more enough to score 67 points why do u need 23 points if you had education in Mech Engineering? how many years of work exp do you have and your designation if you dont mind.

education - 23 points I have a Masters too
designation - mechanical engineer ( project coordinator )

what about you ?

@ province preference - ALBERTA is good, basically its good all overall canada man for engineers!!!!!......

@ Go-Canada-Go

I don't think 1 year is a ample of experience to issue a PR that to for a Mechanical Engineers. Even 2+ experience people are consider juniors in this field. They learn basics and are considered as trainees. Have a look at spreadsheet to have a better idea about no.of years people having work experience in this field and other fields. I dint mean to degrade you.
