Friends,Today I received my Passports with beautiful PR visas and COPR.
They have also returned my IELTS score card, PCC, College transcripts and marriage certificate.

Very happy to reach the final destination of the visa process.

I am landing at Toronto on 20th Feb by British Airways flight from Mumbai.

Got a good deal with tickets and buying the 14000 CAD.

I wish and pray that all my friends in this forum and outside who has applied for PR, will get it soon and reach their dreamland to party with me.

I will share my landing experience very soon.
I might be away for a week due to preparations for departing on 20th Feb.

Anybody who needs my help is most welcome to mail me.

Dear friends, please advice if you know

I have a work experience in a factory similar to NOC 2243 (work there 7 years ago when I was student) but as of now I have M.B.A degree major in finance.
Do I am eligible to apply with NOC 2243 or Visa Office will consider me over-qualified / not qualified for that occupation?

The same applies to my wife, she worked in a laboratory as an assistant for several years (NOC 3212) but after she decided to change her profile and now she has master degree in Public health.

Excuse me if this is not appropriate topic for this kind of question but I really need answer as almost no time left to apply.

Applications we will accept – Federal skilled workers

As of May 4, 2013, Citizenship and Immigration Canada will only consider federal skilled worker (FSW) applications from people who have:

at least one year of continuous and paid (full-time or an equal amount in part-time) work experience in a single occupation,
within the last 10 years


it is recommended that you explore the option of your wife being a primary applicant. I am guessing that your wife may be able to apply as well under 3212.

To add up points I strongly recommend that you and your wife takes up IELTS.

Also who had 50 Days to submit the documents, fees and medicals instead of 60 days. could you please share your status and no of applicants?

I just checked my status and they have added a second line that says "we started processing your application on Jan 29,2014"
What does this mean? Are all the background checks done and I can expect MR soon?

Hi preity, my status shows app started processing from Jan 31st. This most probably means, the VO has started working on our application. It is now that BG checks might take place. Medicals are not assured yet. Fingers crossed.

Guys is there a big possibility that by adding a newborn our processing be delayed further by a few months??

Possibilities I think of in my case...current employment verification, overseas employment in the past, doubts on proof of funds, not all PCCs submitted (so more checking)....what else??? :

in the MR mail which i recvd on 10th dec, the due date was 10.02.2014, but in the PPR,RPRF,MR mail which i recvd on 14th dec, the due date was 28th jan 2014....

Thanks for the quick response.

I had similar case i got medical request on 19 Dec and 60 days to complete.
but i received a email on 21 dec for PPR rprf and mr in which the due date was 9 feb ( which is sunday)

so i believe you also have the same case in which they have asked to submit in 50 days.

I was hoping that the due date is the bring forward date and they issue the visa around that date.

did you checked when was your RPRF encahsed? Mine was encashed on 16 Jan ( It reached chc on 10 Jan)
