No rallbandi, that is not necessary. Her IELTS will help to increase the score but her but her ECA won't unless she has Canadian education. Under the adaptability factor points for spouse can be claimed either for her work experience in Canada or if she has Canadian educational credentials. Keep all the documents ready while you guys complete and get IELTS scores. The day you get the scores, send the package to CIC.
