hi faizz....if I'm in your place I will just wait for mr and nothing else.....australia is a good place...but Canada pr is always powerful and Canadian visa is most popular....lot of may applicants who waited like U got last week mr as U saw....so just hang on and don't get distracted....
everyone more or else even after getting mr are not peaceful as every stage is a hurdle....u R just 1m behind the finish line....no body is happy with their jobs here.....the prime reason behind our pr journey.....so hang on for couple of weeks....u and bhfsw2174 will hear good news soon

Thank you I2C. Do we get any email or correspondence from NDVO after DM or they will just send PP back?

Yes your passport will be on its way with landing papers. No further communication on ecas now until you have landed.

Very simple. For the kind of life style we all are striving for, you may "see"it for your self. Just use Google maps street view option and see the kind of streets and houses. You will know in a minute what's the difference. No need to see downtown area, just check the residential streets. You will see that the houses and streets in Canada are more like the ones in USA. I have been to Australia, wasn't impressed at all.

There are many in USA who migrated from Australia and there are many in USA who migrated to Canada :) :)

Ultimately it is personal choice, I just gave my perspective.

what does second line in ecas actually mean? is it that everything has been checked upon?

Ecas is the status of your applications i.e at what stage your application is sitting on

second line shows the date on which VO starts processing your file, meaning before this date your file was simply in the waiting que at VO.
