may be i am the odd one out... but my first preference would always be australia... and its mainly due to weather... the snow canada gets might be fun initially but later on can get very annoying. apart from that australia has much better outdoor life, a factor which really makes your life different to what we experience in our home countries. i think weather conditions are actually very very important in choosing immigration destination coz when i was in the UK, i remember how continuous rain+snow would make me feel so gloomy for no obvious reason.

This is ofcourse my personal assessment, so please feel free to disagree. ;D ;D

i agree....Australia is very bright and lot of fun outdoor....and Canada on other hand is very liberal to immigrants ...and very true cold climate will certainly have impact on our minds....it gets very depressing sometimes when the climate is too cold always,...no denial here

PCC from UK is very simple and systematic process..they have 2 options..standard and fast track..

Standard process takes about 3 weeks. The PCC will reach you within 3 weeks (mostly earlier but not later). We applied for standard process but sent our forms through courier and requested to receive it through courier. Indian postal service is not reliable at all :-[

Fast track process take 8-10 days for the PCC to reach you.

I would suggest you apply for PCC and if you have not heard from the VO requesting for it then you could send it to them with a detailed covering letter mentioning your file number and other details.

Dear mates I used to live in UK for almost 5 years. I have returned back to my country about 10 months ago. I do not have any plan to return to UK anymore. When I applied for FSW I sent my country's PCC with my file but I did not sent PCC of UK. My visa office is SGVO. I don't know when they gonna ask for it. I got to know that PCC is valid for 3 months only. So I can not decide to apply for the PCC of UK now. Can anyone tell me shall I apply for it now or later as there is a question of validity. The other point is that I am not going to UK any further. Please advise me...

Firstly send an email to NDVO for the Medical forms. I did same on behalf of my cousin & today he received a mail from them that they will send the docs soon. It will work. It is necessary to send mail if not received. He has not received from last 16 days. But today he recevied a revert. Hope it will work for u.....& please write very very urgent in subject.......as we did....
