Dear conetocanada,

Here is the link I found
http://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/online/pccOnlineApp

We can apply and collect PCC from passport selva in person or online. So I like to know why you said I won't be able to get it from PSK....

dear if you are applying for yourself frim PSK tgen there is no issue .....you can go ahead...by filling forms online and payment. ..and schedule appointment to PSK.....if you are applying for spouse .....who is not Indian....then you have to apply from FRRO office.....hope it is clear. ...all the best

Thanks for the reply dear...Actually our marriage got over 6 months back and she is still in her home country so no need to take Indian PCC for my spouse... So I think as you suggested I can go and get mine from PSK... I don't know whether you know the solution for the question I asked before. Do I have to put Married or Not applicable in the marital status of Indian PCC form. Becoz as I said before we are legally registered only in her country not in India yet...

dear its always better to register marriage in india and get apostle on marriage certificate. ..so that you will not face any documentation problem in future. ...any how if u r running short of time....then u can proceed with single status in PSK forms....cause in PCC it will not mentioned ....about marital status. ....

Hi Vedh, Do not worry about new passport number in PCC.

When you submit the PCC to NDVO, in your cover letter just mention that you have renewed your passport for so and so reason. and atatch the copy of new and old passport for reference. Your new passport will also have number of old one to connect.

NDVO office will just refer it to validate the PCC.

Renewal of passport do not need official intimation as per NDVO's requirement. You are just providing it to validate your PCC. That's very much alright.

Thanks Javiya. It gives me a big relief. Thanks for your kind words.

Hi All.

People who sent their PCC to NDVO, did you guys apply for PCC only after receiving the PCC request from the VO, or beforehand.. ?? Please do let me know.
Regards

If yours is a reissue passport, apply now itself. Because reissue passport cases takes time in getting the PCC. If it is a fresh passport, you will get on your scheduled date of appointment itself.

Dear demi69.Of course you have to submit all passports from all four family members.
Don't you need visa for them...!! ;) ;) ;D ;D ;D....ask your wife. ;D ;D

For payment of RPRF fees you just need to submit for you and spouse if your kids are younger than 18 yrs.

Don't forget to add a nice cover letter with details of passports.

People looking for PPC from PSK.In my case ,I had marriage certificate but spouse name not added in passport. The guys at PSK told me to first get new passport with spouse name on each other passport and then only PCC will be issued.
I applied in tatkal and got passport in 3 days and next day went for PCC.Got PCC in 30min flat. :)
Shared this info if someone facing similar scenario.

Thanks for sharing sinestra

Can you elaborate on the online courses available, what type of online courses, its recognition with provincial bodies etc

Rawdah,

In order to get in-depth info. on the kind of courses that are offered online & can be taken from your home country or other certification courses, you have to attend the CIIP session. That's because after this one full day session, they prepare an action plan for you & call you again for an hour or so for one-on-one session. It is then when they discuss, share & provide guidance on training or certification courses SPECIFIC to your occupation. I will be attending that one-to-one session tomorrow & get details about certifications for Mechies & alternate options :P

So, just reiterating, PLEASE DO ATTEND THE CIIP SESSION AT ANY COST! It will give you immense confidence & a sense of direction where you need to head to. :D

I was lucky to have our friend sinestra by my side during the CIIP session in Bangalore :D ;D :P
