Dear All,

I am an Indian working in Saudi Arabia.I will be going to India on vacation for a month. My passport has been renewed at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Will it be wise to apply for PCC from India or should I apply from Saudi only.

If you are going for vacation to India, better to get PCC from your local PSK,India....... It hardly takes some hours to issue a PCC , If your permanent address is same as address in your passport....

Besides, it doesn't make any difference even if you get your PP renewed at Riyadh......as you get it from Indoan Embassy on Riyadh....


However, I guess ...... You need to produce both Indian PCC & SA PCC when demanded by your VO

How could we know about that our file is transfeted to VO. About AOR etc....is all that informatiion come to know through ECAS...Please tell me...

Other query is that I applied through pakistan and mentioned local address. I am working here in dubai for more than 5 years and left dubai only for two months (during application time) for my Company visa change. Now again in dubai.

Please advise me whether I will request for address change or no need.....if yes then where and which office I have to adress, LVO or Sydney Intake office )...my VO is london but upto now only PER recieved and I dont know that file is tranfered or not........PLEASE GUIDE ME...

I really feel sometimes that I should do something to change my Visa Office from London to anywhere else like Bucharest, NDVO, Paris, CPPO, HK, Beijing etc but then just tray to absorb all this frustration with another hope that one day LVO will wake up as well....damn,,, one of the worst visa offices in the world.....feeling really sad after seeing all this injustice situation by LVO....poor, pathetic and shameful.....

What does awaiting review mean? When I checked the status on ECAS it says in process. I have not received PER and AOR yet, not that I know what they are. Can anyone please explain the terms and also what it means to be awaiting review. Thanks for your kind help. You guys are stars on this forum.

I am Oct 30th applicant. Based on the current pace of cic i expect we can hear something frm them on Jan 1st or 2nd week.

Just for those who applied to Manila office, here's my timeline.

Sent my application on Mar 3, 2013
Received PER on Mar 11, 2013
No news for AOR or Medical since then.
Sent an inquiry and received email from Manila office that my application is queued, but not given how long it is gonna take.

For those who just applied later than me, it's normal not receiving AOR because MO doesn't send it. They just send MD.

For which NOC? Where the applicant in the spread sheet? I can see only one application received by CIC on 10/11/2013 and thats yours. Is that your CC got charged?

First, I'm not Filipino. Koreans also need to send applications to Manila VO.
I'm currently in Canada and sent my FSW2(arranged employment letter) application to CPP-O indicating Manila as my VO on Mar 3 and received PER on Mar 11.
I know one person who applied for FSW 2 in Manila VO and received PER on Nov 2012 and received medical request on July 2013.
As you know, PAFCO went on strike for 3~4 months, so I think I will probably get my medical request somewhere January or February.
I emailed Manila VO and received email from them that my application is queued for review, but not indicating how long it's gonna take.
