Waiting for MR seems really tough. May Allah make it easy for us.... Do u know what SGVO is doing after sending AOR for a file? Does it mean they start working on it? How they check background;

I do hope they don't take too long to give you the Visa now that you have done your Meds. What is happening in the forum on that side, have most persons gotten their Meds Request now? How many from Hong Kong have now gotten Visa's.. a member from out Forum whose VO is Hong Honk delivered the good news to us this morning that she got her Visa.

Guys, I just got MER in system. "Medical result has been received". Admin pls change my color.
I hope I can receive the PL letter before valentine's day coz Beijing VO is known to be very slow in issuing visa. But I don't care coz I need to find a job in Canada branch before I move.

If you look at and compare the data at the two links below (targets for 2013 and 2014), you will see, that they actually plan to decrease the yearly FSW admission quota - persons - by 8.000(!), from 55.300 to 47.300. That is a 14.4% decrease. Looking at backlog number at end of June 2013, which was 66.600, and we can assume around another 8.000-10.000 coming from FSW 2013, they need to process between 74.600-76.600 before end of 2014. Half of 2013 quota plus 2014 quota: 55.300/2 + 47.300 = 74.950. Almost the same number as the backlog, but there are another factors: refusals and withdrawals. If we count with an 85% admission rate, there is room for about 10.000 more people until end of 2014. Some of that will be AEO, but there may be a little headroom for an FSW 2014 program.
