No. If you have a relative that is Canadian Citizen / PR, than it's $5. But if you don't have someone, than you have to make a request via 3rd party website, and they take about $35 ~ $45.

For sharing experience , Does anybody experienced a rejection from the VO after PER?

Here are some rejections from London VO after PER

Yesterday i check my case it is showing second line but i am surprised also to see the third line which is saying that
"A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision"
and status is also changed to "Decision Made" from "In Process"

i didnt got medical this is before medical this is the thing which caused me worried

i don't know that it is positive or negative sign

Today i got refusal letter from LVO based on insufficient points after getting second line in ECAS on 7th June 2012 by mentioning non submission of my spouse master degree although i have sent my spouse orginal transcipt of MBA with initial set of application . they also not given point of my spouse aunt due to insufficient documents where as i have submitted Citizen ship card of my spouse aunt, bio data form of my spouse aunt declaring my spouse mother as sister in 1997 in her PR card application along with affidavits.

They have given me 66 points. Please guide what should i do , should i send reconsideration request with my spouse master degree copy ? will they reconsider ?

I will qualify and get 70 marks i f they will except my spouse qualification

My status is still in process

Dear forum member today i received refusal on insufficient points basis which are 63 as they have not given me points for adaptability for relative in Canada i have mentioned my spouse uncle as a relative in Canada plus i have sister in Canada which i mentioned in family info form but they did not consider anyone .i have a question if i want to apply for reconsideration what should i do. pls guide me that may i have a right to appeal against this decision?

Thanks for reply yes actually i got refusal and then requested for reconsideration on the same grounds and they reopened my file. I received mr 1 week back. i hope that my hearing problem would not be cause of refusal...just got lil worried...fingers crossed

good job rawda, but this was old FSWP, i mean points were calculated later in this FSWP. now we have ECA which upto some extent verify the educational credentials, no points for spouse qualification and points are calculated at CIO sydney, still chances of rejection in LVO.

please throw some light

In short, the VO has rejected my letter of reference and given me zero points despite my 15 years of experience as a network engineer. I have 60 days to produce a more concise letter of reference, which I will be able to do. Without the points for the work experience, I'm at 55 points and disqualified. With the 15 points for the work experience, I'm at 70 points and qualified for the FSWP.

It seems that many applicants are having trouble with WES, but how about with letters of reference being rejected? The letter that I submitted was pretty good with a detailed job description and all the requested info such as start/end dates, 40 hour work week, etc. My experience in dealing with the HR departments of my previous employers has been extremely frustrating, with HR generating mundane letters without any job description. Fortunately, in the case of my current employer, where I've been for the past three years, I don't have to deal with HR.
