Dear Melkoup and Srip17

CIC generally send application by CANADA POST, which in reality takes maximum number of days for delivery compare to any post in the world.
and this is really bad for us.

we understand that cap if full...but if they email or return the package at the earliest, we can atleast put an end to the waiting game.
If we know for sure, our app is not considered, we can try out other options...CIC can at least send the rejection email at the earliest...donno why they are delaying it :(

Ohh! this is what I just got from CIC.

Good Day,

Given the information provided no record was found.

Due to the large volume of incoming applications since the re-opening of the Skilled Worker Category on 04 May 2013, our office is experiencing a slightly longer delay than normal in the creation of applications.

It is possible the application is in the queue awaiting review. Please allow 3-4 weeks for creation of your record.

Thank you,

The postage between UK, where I am from, and Canada is not very long, I frequently send things over there (as I have family in Canada) and it takes 5-7 days more or less. Maximum 10 days, through normal airmail service. I think my application is still stilling in a pile somewhere and hasn't even been opened! :(

Sorry for your info, I have received post from Canada as well, and within a week (when there is no strike). Should not take months and months for 1 envelope to be posted by air, surely..

then it is possible that they haven't send you back from their end.

SameerkPatel got after almost 40 days!

I think Martha received it in a weeks time as she is in USA

In any case they will only return once they open the file and get to know that you have applied for NOC which is already full.

Currently CIC is working on application close to mid June.
