UCI gets assigned at the time they start reviewing your application( if i am not wrong basically when they open your package)

Dear Seniors,

My CC has been charged on 29th Aug, haven't received PER yet.

I have a question regarding the procedure of PER.

Do CIC people contact EMPLOYER before issuing PER?

I haven't received any UCI number, Do I need to call CIC to collect that ? OR I should wait few more days for the PER e-mail?

First of all congrats, if your CC is charged, your PER is on its way, no doubt abt it...

It is most unlikely that they contact the Employer before issuing PER. Only the Visa office will check the employment details in detail. However, we had one case shared by a forumite where the supervisor of that member got a call from CIC 7 30 AM in the morning IST.

Yes, keep trying the call center and ask for UCI, but you wont see anything online before you get the PER.. Sometimes you hear that" they have received your application on (date) " in the IVR of CIC...

Employment Verification and all will happen only after the file has been transfered to local visa office and after they started processing your application..

App Received: June 7th
CC charged: August, 22nd
PER: August 29th

I am a NOC 1112 applicant whose application was returned because of the old Schedule 3 form. I sent it again and I'm still waiting for the CC to be charged. Thanks for your prayers. Good luck to you as well.

Guys, I just called CIC, gave them my name and DOB and they said they cannot find anything on their system! Is it possible they haven't opened the application yet or is it returned? If application is returned do they still issue UCI number ???

When did you apply and when did you hear from CIC regarding the missing app? Good luck.

I first applied on May 6 and then got the package back around June 10 or so. They received the new application on June 14.

I called yesterday as well, and they couldn't find me in the system. June 14 applicant.
