Which is why we urge ppl to not be a follower but a participant.
If you have been following this thread from a long time you must have gone through several humble requests from various applicants to register on the sheet. Each one of us here add up to an extra percentage of accuracy to our self-maintained sheet.

2174 is caped-out so sorry dear. But this is not the end; there are other ways to enter into Canada. For now you can start pursuing them in parallel.
Sharing your information is at your sole discretion but as I said each one of us contribute towards an extra % of accuracy.

Surprising! how can a 26/6 applicant have PER while CIC is still charging cc/dd for 1st and 2nd week June applicants??? who is that person? Is he/she present in the forum?

I'm hoping that too but if we think practically chances are very light of me being in the cap. Since I'm proactive and like to keep backups I'm collecting information. If you've any please share.

Everyone has chances, never loose hope, until you hear something from CIC,

In this form everyone is posting views as per their experience with the CIC, however no one will perfectly knows how the CIC works.

If 26/6 got PER, it means you have full chances. As per my opinion the files are distributed to different persons and probably the officer dealing the file of 26/6 was faster than other and moving ahead than other in doing or completing his job and the person dealing with your file may be on leave and working slowly. Always Be positive and hope for the best.

I wish it were like that. Our PR processing time would be only 3-4 months and all of us would have been happy.
PER was just pre-lim positive determination of your application which indicates your application can be forwarded to the next stage i.e, Visa Office. Visa officer himself is powerful and can exercise his jurisdiction upon file it's handling under the set guidelines. In short, a thorough evaluation of the file is to be done by VO even after CIO gave a PER. God forbid, if their is problem with the application, it can still be rejected at a later stage.

This is exactly what I am worried about now.
I tried doing a reference check for my wife who left the organisation years ago with the intention of knowing if a verification can be done by phone or not. I pretended to be the HR official of another Hospital.

On the first attempt: The call landed to the receptionist who tried to transfer the call to the HR dept, where the phone rang endlessly and no one answered.

Second attempt: This time, I called after an hour and spoke to a different receptionist, who was talking to someone else and me at the same time. After stating the purpose of the call thrice, she transferred the call to Mr. Fernandes of the HR who told me that they don't have data of employees employed 3 years ago. He stated it is hospital policy. (I was sweating when he told me this, come on man, why would you have a company policy that states something like this..)

Third attempt: I called and the receptionist who answered my call the first time transferred to another person who asked for the employee code and told me the period of employment.

I didn't dare to do the reference check for the second reference point.

Moral of the story:
If your VO has a bad day, I don't think he will attempt to call 3 times. If you are providing references of big organisations, this can happen.

Hello everyone, Just back from vaccations and seen the expected Cap reach for two hot NOCs. Congrates for everyone who made within the cap and good luck for others for next time and with their current process of applying for any other category/country. I have also seen one extra sheet added to our online excel for 1112 and 2174 and noted that I am not being included in this new addition :. Admin pls do it, I am still active in this forum and want to be part of it.
