Hi,
I had been following this thread from a long time and did send my application on July 18 but i havnt updated the online sheet published. I am a bit confused understanding this excel. If I understand correct, it is a excel that applicants(who about this thread) will update right?, So how does it give a true picture as to how many applications have been received or processed till date?

Say for example, I had sent my application but have not updated this sheet, so ppl referring to the sheet will think total# of applications sent is 1 less, but that not true.

Also, just checked on CIC site that cap for cap for 2174 has already reached, so any applicants for this category(like me who submitted application on 18 July) should not hope that our application will be accepted. Are there still chances? and does making a entry in the excel sheet makes any difference?

Hi max ash..... I think 2174 is no doubt full. And there will not be any more positive news for 2174. As your documents will be resent back to you ....make sure you send next year on very first week when fsw opens again next year. I'm sure you will make it that time.and spread sheet is just to give an idea on which days applications are being processed across Nocs and to give a rough idea....nothing more

Which is why we urge ppl to not be a follower but a participant.
If you have been following this thread from a long time you must have gone through several humble requests from various applicants to register on the sheet. Each one of us here add up to an extra percentage of accuracy to our self-maintained sheet.

2174 is caped-out so sorry dear. But this is not the end; there are other ways to enter into Canada. For now you can start pursuing them in parallel.
Sharing your information is at your sole discretion but as I said each one of us contribute towards an extra % of accuracy.

Cic is the best site which gives you correct updates as far as I know.....it should reopen around same time as this year..so just relax.....you applied in very hot NOC that's why you were late this year....but lot of other Nocs even people applying in end of July/sep will mostly make it. Don't worry about next year you will surely make it because you have all docs ready now....u just need to resend them next year....may be in may again.thats all

I wish it were like that. Our PR processing time would be only 3-4 months and all of us would have been happy.
PER was just pre-lim positive determination of your application which indicates your application can be forwarded to the next stage i.e, Visa Office. Visa officer himself is powerful and can exercise his jurisdiction upon file it's handling under the set guidelines. In short, a thorough evaluation of the file is to be done by VO even after CIO gave a PER. God forbid, if their is problem with the application, it can still be rejected at a later stage.

Another mistake i did was, i joined the thread late and started following up late too..... There is a lot of useful information/updates that gets posted here.

Unintentional mistakes happen my friend!
I wholeheartedly wish you get all the information you want such that next time you are on time and through the process in one shot.
Keep watching for upcoming programs such as FSWP'14 or any other, although we haven't heard of any yet but they'll be there for you.

The members in Spreadsheet who got there PER are approximate 25% - 30% of total world applications recived PER.
Means if total applications received PER is 100 , then 25-30 are from this forum / Spreadsheet . (for most of NOCs)
