I am a june applicant under 2174. Why cant we try for 2147.

What do you think is the best, to send an e-mail to CIC asking about app status after 6 or 8 weeks? As you all now, we all are little inpatient after the lastest CAP update?

Medical request status updated for one more candidate, so we could expect Medical request within 30 days after PER....

No dear. No medical request even after 30 days from NDVO. NDVO is moving very slow. Don't know is there strike going on or it had been already resolved. But no response received as it is more than 35 days now.

This is very strange. We all sent one of the two original copies from WES. Were we supposed to send both the copies? If so, the reports were duplicate, why would they need both?

in the cic checklist it is clearly written" SUBMIT AN ORIGINAL ECA REPORT" which clearly means that we have to submit a single original copy of ECA report .

so here is the news. If you havent been charged by now and even if you got a UCI and ECAS gives the error message and you have applied before May and havent heard anythign back till now then .. the chances are Its over..

My application was returned AUG 1st.. reason waiting for package..

I had talked to a Member of Parliament to get this news. CIC hasnt said anything to me yet

Hi, Thanks to forum. I too get this information from here.
Call at – 0016139444000
select 1 for English
then 1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
call is being transferred to cic
then 1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
8 digit client id number will be asked
listen the request 3 times without entering client id number
then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc
then agent will check in the system and shall give feedback regarding UCI.

NOTE: Please don't directly ask for the application status, just tell them you have been waiting for more than 10 weeks, but there is still no update, And you also tried to send email to CIC but did not get response. Therefore, you are calling for getting your client id number so that you can check your application online by yourself.
