so here is the news. If you havent been charged by now and even if you got a UCI and ECAS gives the error message and you have applied before May and havent heard anythign back till now then .. the chances are Its over..

My application was returned AUG 1st.. reason waiting for package..

I had talked to a Member of Parliament to get this news. CIC hasnt said anything to me yet

Sorry to hear abt ur but u can definitely apply again....Check ur IELTS validity and arrange documents beforehand. Best of luck ???

CIC received my application on May 13th, and I applied under NOC2147 (IT -- network engineer). Have any of you It people heard back from CIC yet? I've checked the site, and my app is still showing "in process".

Hi Amit, I applied through Campbell Cohen, the law firm in Montreal, and charged the application fee to my credit card. Campbell Cohen would have made the $550 payment to CIC.

I have received PER on 29th July and since then ECAS is showing "In process".
U must have received your UCI and file number through PER mail.

Congrats !! withing 7-10 days you will receive email from centralized-intake-office (PER) which includes your UIC number and they transfer your file to your local Visa Office
