All those mates who applied under 1112 and 2174 at least till 10 of June should stay calm , because we still don't know how CIC are making their count.....good wishes to applicants of both NOCs

my application reached CIC on 31st May...........this is really hard luck........or may be I was slow in sending the application............

One question where do i stand in the race ????
I am a First time applicant .I have a UCI number from the call centre since last two weeks. But there is no update on ECAS & IVR
Checking with bank since last three weeks as there is no update regarding the bank demand draft encashment.

Experts Am in the race or out of the race.?????????
Only time will tell.........

Well dont lose hope 2174 and 1112 ppl...
1) No one knows who is in the CAP yet
2) They may hold on to your apps for a while, and reserve on first come first serve, when other caps have not filled... They have mentioned no but we never know.

After seeing some charges for 5th and 6th june, I finally mustered some courage to CIC. In first try, I got my UCI. Soon, then I tried checking eCAS but it did not let me enter the system. I thought of rechecking the UCI with CUC - I was little excited while writing down the number the first time and it did not occur to me to double check it with them. So I called again. But the person refused to provide me the number. So I tried third time and was able to get the UCI and it proved that I had noted the number correct the first time.

Last I checked with Thomas Cook, my DD was not encashed till 16-Aug. Hope it all turns out okay.

How? they didnt send me an email yet, am not clear about payment as i made a bank deposit but do you think there is still hope?

If the interpretation is right, my app was counted towards Cap in the last update for 0211 on 19-Aug because the figure did not change in this update on 21-Aug. CC was charged on 15-Aug.

Using this hypothesis, I believe all of those charged immediately before this cap update for 1112 and 2174 are already in and counted!! However, that doesn't mean those who haven't heard about their DD charge yet are out. It just that DD news flow slow. Plus CIO will keep a few apps still in pipeline because some of these will get rejected due to various reasons after reaching their respective VOs in the following months. So speaking of these two NOCs, most of apps during the first week of June are pretty much safe.
