Hi,

Need help...

My seniors got call from Canadian consulate for my job verification. How should I interpret it?

Does anyone got such calls for job duties?

Can someone throw some light on this.

Thanks in advance.

Guys, please. You are traveling to dangerous places in your minds. Do you really think CIO will have officers expert in 15, 20 languages/dialects to call every applicant's employers around the world? Come on!

CIC decreased the time checking applications now so what do you think what is the estimated time now between applying and PER?

Dear Pallavi, There must be something in your case that they want to clarify it bcz you are the first one to get the call rest there are almost 200 applicants who got PER in NOC 1112 they didn't receive the call, moreover this task is performed by Visa Office not by CIC ::)

Nothing special with her.. may be, b'coz there are only 8 vacancies left so Visa Officer is conducting telephonic interviews to pick- n- choose the most deserving ones :P

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I just wanted no whether we get mail ones they en cash the money or PER will be the first.

Depend on Mode of payment if its CC then you get to know before receiving the PER/ If its DD its the other way round

hi vats....I think by default dd are valid for 6 months as much as I know, I took from icici and the person clearly told me its valid for 6 months..not sure with AXIS. May be now even I have to recheck with my banker as the forum member is saying only 3 months as per 2012 rbi rules....but I remember by default its valid for 6 months..but not sure

Hello admins and everyone

Today, Aug 21, have received email from CIC with saying "...our application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience..." . Most probably this is PER, please update the spreadsheet.

Good luck to everyone and thanks again for good job at forum

CIC will only call the employer if there is some doubt and they feel that it can be rectified by speaking to someone. It is most likely to do with job description. About the language, I don't know why you have such an old school understanding. We are not living in the stone age my friend :) This is the federal skilled program. To be doing any of these "skilled" level jobs, I assume you need to have some sort of university degree. If you have been to university, I assume you will have an adequate grasp of English? If you do speak English, it is likely your boss does as well. So I cannot see why language should be a barrier.

Anyway, back to the point. CIC calling employers is good news as opposed to them just rejecting FSW applications outright as they do not understand something in the job description. Hope this helps...

i don't understand why the canada govt. is playing with emotions of pepoles.now the recent news is that strike may go up to till october.if govt. doesn't find any solution then OUR APPLICATION WILL GO IN BACKLOG.forget about 2014, that's why some applicants got AOR of 72 month. it's really disgusting so don't happy to get PER.because struggle start after per. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( i pray to god to give some sense to canadian govt. to resolve this issue.
