CLIMAX and Anti-CLIMAX: CLIMAX is that I called CIC yesterday and got my UCI number however they could not tell status of my application. Anti-CLIMAX is that I found out they entered wrong email address in their system. Now if they send PER (hopefully as I got informal message thru bank that my DD is no longer in their DD pending list :o :) ) it will go to wrong email address??? Today I have requested to make changes in email address but it will take 5-10 working days (according to auto email). Oh God.

The waiting could be so annoying, but at least you got your UCI, you can check it online whenever you want.. I tried to call CIC but got nothing, I have been waiting for more than 8 weeks now, my application was received on 13 June, no nothing response yet...

An Appeal

Dear Members,

I have seen normal human tendency that once one work is done and completed successfully, member would vanish from the forum without sharing his experience and updates.

I think this is the worst condition as we all are here to help each other so regardless of your position in getting your case process I feel we should help each other with our views and experience we have gone through during the process of immigration and this is what the forum is made for.

I hope no member would take this appeal personally but its an open request to all to kindly contribute to forum so other members can be benefited.

Harry,
Have you got a UCI number? I tried thrice but they also told me the same thing. This is not the right avenue to get UCI number. But the 4th time when i called up, they themselves asked me all the details & gave me a UCI number :D

And for your information bro, I am a 12th June 2132 applicant :P So call them again tonight!! You will definitely get to hear something from them.

As they say," Try n try until u succeed!" Cheers!

Dear Mankaran,

Happy to hear u succeeded in getting UCI, kindly post the complete details how u contacted and proceeded to get through. it would be great if post complete details in right sequence so that we can also get through easily.

I'm 28th May applicant of NOC 2132, m waiting eagerly to have any update. Today, I called my bank where they told your DD is still outstanding and not paid as of date. I'm very much worried... :'( :'( :'(

Please post complete details in right sequence.. :'(

When I had called, they were saying if my application received date was more than 10 weeks then only they might have some information.. so maybe by coming/next week u will have some info.

Beginning to wonder if its worth rushing into the PCCs' particularly with what should be a guaranteed delay on a/c of the strike action. Certs valid for a year make sense, but whats the general take on applying for those that are limited to six months? Rush into it, or wait for a tad?

Hi All,

I haven't received any email from CIC after my CC charges on 8th July.
So, i sent an email to CIC on 19th July.

I got the reply from CIC today morning.
Here is the email:

Good Morning,.

File# E000XXXXXX

Your file is with our office and you will be contacted in due course.

Thank you

D.A.
Client Service Unit
Citizenship and Immigration
Centralized Intake Office
Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada

I have used this file number and status is "In Process" with message "We received your application for permanent residence on May 10, 2013."

So, can i consider it as PER or still i have to wait?

Seniors please, suggest.
Same dilema i am facing now, i have not receive PER email though In process as shown in ECAS, If you will rely on what has written in diagram we already pass our eligibility review if its in process. however, i can not understand why they keep us waiting since they already charged and should give us prompt decision whether PER or NER. It is really stressful to check every time our mails, We should call center and finds out if our email in the system is correct, or if they sent out any correspondence to us and by accidentally it was deleted or for other reasons. CIC owes us explanation as 10 weeks past already. Its very obvious something is wrong in our application because while some are getting PER in which submitted after your files received in CIC but they have to inform us. Sorry if am so negative but i am still hoping for good news in the soonest time.

Yesterday i called CIC number given in forum to get UCI. One beautiful lady :o (Guessed from her voice) :P answered call. And she asked me to call to Call Centre directly. Then got disconnected. What can i do to get UCI?

pls suggest
