I have no clue where I am going wrong. The moment I say, I am calling to know about the status of my FSW application, they say that they are sorry as they have no access to the files in the processing office and they promptly take my email address and send this useless information to me. >:(

She is right,,, But this time CIC is avoiding issueing NER so far after payment deduction.........Till last year if your docs are complete CIC will process your application and deduct your money than they calculate completeess toward MI... So in that case many candidates are got NER due to insufficient points awarded by CIC officer. those app are having UCI and also rejected.....

But this year CIC is doing all pre check docs completeness, MI check, than deducting payment/fess... SO if you have got confirmation of payment deduction from CIC... you are 99% safe rest 1% will confirm after PER.....

UCI is just a unique identity number given to ur file. It means that they have received ur file.
It doesn't mean u will get the PER or fee will be encashed.

Hi dear,

To get UCI, whom should i call and at what no, with which ivr options.
can you please help

Thanks

Well one guy who got his PR 3/4 years back told me yesterday once the file reaches CIO, they within a short notice does a completeness check of the whole package but doesn't count any points or evaluates any paper ... Once this is done and it passess the checking, UCI is labled on the package ... however, if the app fails the completeness check at this Very first stage, no UCI is stamped and the whole package is simply returned back with a letter .... Returned apps having UCI means it had been failed during the second completeness check or other reason .... so Not ALL returned app will have UCI on it ...

Not sure how accurate is this.

But i think Marta had a UCI no. assigned to her.

My file reached on 4th june and if the file was to be returned we should have recvd it as our consultant is based out of canada.

...So 30 and 31 May are being charged. :) From experience, does it mean applicants frm 27, 28, 29 May who have not been charged yet (like me :'( ) have been rejected! Jiggzy, islandbabe, rawdah ? your inputs please :( Has it happened before that CCs have been charged out of turn? eg. 30 may charged before 27 may ? :'( :'( :'(

Congrats to the successful ones :) and good luck to the waiting ones :)

Yes it happens... You can filter out app reaceived date and check cc charged date in spread sheet... so wait couple of more days u will definitely get charged.

Though I am repeating this topic again but as I am afraid of rejection due to DD expire so want to confirm that "is there anyone who have send Demand Draft form Axis Bank, India and confirm that the validity is of six months (not three months) as nothing is written on draft and I afraid due to current increase in processing time at CIC (75days)."

Anyone has got confirmation form Axis Bank, India for validity of 6 month for Demand draft. I enquire with bank and surprisingly i got two different replies from different employee????????

All DDs in India are valid for 3 months only no matter what. This rule has been enforced by RBI since April 2012.
