FSW 2013 Applican sent to the CIC office

Hi there,
My FSW application has been delivered to CIC on the 24th July 2013. I've sent in the relevant forms, supporting documents and fee payment as requested but haven't received any email to date. Can anyone tell me how long do I have to wait before receiving an email from CIC pertaining to my application.

Thank you

Mate, if you build it (stock), they(good news) will come. ;D
Ah the famous quote from Field of Dreams..

I build it using DD, I guess they are coming on Dog Carts. ;D

However, looks like I will have to wait a while longer.

@ Ahmed... Eid Mubarik !

I personally feel that Visa Officer should be more Confident signing your PER after all an Original is worth more than a duplicate !! Who cares if it gets lost or Never returned (in case of PR) or do you have the another set of originals or how much will it cost to get another.... that's your prerogative. By sending Originals at first place you have it written-off from your books, understood & accepted the risk, so you have nothing to loose going forward :)

Hi Neel

Thanks for your help.
Somehow I get an error when I try to reply back to your personal message. It says that I am not allowed to send a message. Do you know why?.So thought of getting in touch with you through this link.

Yes, It would be great if you could send me a copy of the form.
Well, I am too late for 1112 2013. Have already appeared for IELTS (S 8.5,L 8.5, R 9, W 8). I think the overall score is 8.5 which I guess is the maximum (i.e 6 points for each). Am I right?

You are right, I will be prepared with all the docs and if the category opens up then apply with the relevant docs at that time else let it go.

Meanwhile, I read your posts on BC's. My BC is without a name as well, so I guess affidavit and Secondary School certificate will be the way. With my hubby, its a mess cos his docs have different spellings. Passport and BC have different spellings for last name. Anything I can do to fix that? I guess an affidavit by parents that the correct spelling is XYZ?

Just wondering if anyone here knows about the requirements for an Australian police check. Kinda dumbfounded between multiple sources, and confused even, between the "is fingerprinting required, or not" conundrum.

Response appreciated.

G/luck to all on this painstaking venture.

Hello darkr1der

I have applied for the Australian Police Check and there is no need for a finger print check. You can do the basic police check which will cost you AUD 42.00. You fill the details online and pay the amount online. Then you will receive an email from AFP-NationalPoliceChecks@converga.com.au providing you with a reference number and also asking you to fill out a consent form. You fill out this form with the basic details and also let them know what documentation you are providing. For example I have provided the following

- Consent Form - Filled and Signed
- Certified Passport Copies
- Certified Birth Certificate
- 6 Months Bank Statement (From AU). Not mandatory.

You will receive the Police Clearance Certificate in 15-20 days. . Hope to have been of help.

hi Gru! thanks for the response. yes it does say that, with inclusive month and years (had 3 positions for this company).

Based on my experience, you should be fine. I only stressed part-time status (including hours per week) on a reference letter from a past freelance engagement. Again, I can only speak for myself, but it seems that would be good enough at least for CIO :)

Hello,

I have a quick question here.
What is the difference between AOR & PER? I have receievd the letter stating below... Is it an AOR letter or PER letter?

Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation...............
Also when shall I get my PCC?

Thanks

hi guys, just wanted to ask. my current employer issued me my request for a reference/employee certification but it didn't have the following information:

 The number of hours worked per week in each position

do you think this will be a problem?

Just count your daily working hours and multiply it with your weekly working days. It would be your weekly working hours. tell your current employer to describe it in the ref. letter.

Thats a P E R. Congrats. I think AOR is something that you receive after your file has been received at your Visa Office after being transferred from NS

Congratulation Nancy and all others for PER and cc charged
I wish this forum discussion would avail in apps!

Congrats!
