No bro, I am not sure the lady did not ask me my place of birth. So she might have thought that i was from canada itself and searched in that database.

I just called another time, now a different lady picked up the phone (Not the one that gave me that UCI) ... I asked whether my file has been returned or not ??? The only thing she kept repeating is that she can max give a client his UCI number but that's it ... and that she is NOT authorized to tell me whether my File has been Returned Or Under Processing ... At the end I just had to ditch the call ..... !

Yes, you should be getting your PER within 2 - 10 working days. I have not heard of any one whose CC was charged and got a rejection. Good luck!

I just dialed 16139444000-- IVR 1-1-2-1-2-1 for my UCI...After 20mins of wait all i got to hear was you need to call the office where you submitted your application and this line is only for people applying from inside canada.

Is there any other number? can anyone share?

For all the frieds who will not b able to make it in the 300 CAP, good luck for next time I am in the same boat as you .

Atleast we have documents ready for the next year, 2174 reopens again.

below is calculation for 2174

66 candidtates out 90 from the forum received PER whose files were recieved untill 24th May, which is 28.32% of global 233 candidates
(66/233)*100 = 28.32 .
The forum represents 28.32 % of the global CAP.

67 seats left for 2174,
28.32 % of 67 = 18.69, so being 28.32 %. Arround 18 more candidates from the forum should be able to make it to the CAP out of 67.

There are 5 lucky candidate whose CC or DD have been charged but PER yet to be received 18 - 5 = 13, from , so 13 more candidates have a chance to get encashed and receive PER very safely. candidates whose applications were recieved untill 31 may are very safe.

considering the fact that (24/90*100=26.66 % of candiates application get rejected due to various reasons
candiates untill june 4th stand a chance.
buckup for next year. 91 candidates may have to apply next year . As we represent 28.32% of the global applicants. (91/28)*100 = 325 candidates are already there to apply in 2014 ;D

AS PER ABOVE CALCULATION Below is ASSUMPTION / calculation for 2147 :


27 candidtates out 44 from the forum received PER whose files were recieved untill 27th May, which is 30.68% of global 88 candidates

(27/88)*100 = 30.68 .

The forum represents 30.68 % of the global CAP.

212 seats left for 2147,

30.68 % of 212 = 65.04, so being 30.68 %. Arround 65 more candidates from the forum should be
able to make it to the CAP out of 212.

There are 2 lucky candidate whose CC or DD have been charged but PER yet to be received 65 - 2 = 63, from , so 63 more candidates have a chance to get encashed and receive PER very safely.
we have 52 candidates in our spreedsheet, so all are safe according to above calculation

"Wow! So hard to keep up to date with so many posts And I'm also a bit in shock after the cap updates, I pray that God carries out His perfect will on all of us as best suited to each one.

I wanted to share a specific bit of our experience that may be helpful to others as per replies posted a few pages back. IT IS OK TO SEND ONLY A WES ECA FOR AN MSC DEGREE. This is how we did it and we got our PER. So if you are applying for a "cool" NOC, or already applied for a hot NOC and only sent an MSc ECA report, rest assured that it's OK, no need to rush and get a bachelor's ECA as well.

We sent it so the fictitious example of "Deng" from the CIC Guide.

And mentioned so in our cover letter.
