Finally after calling CIC atleast 30 to 40 times i got a 8 digit identification number.
I have filed under 1112 -noc code & application reached on June 4-2013
This lady asked my first name & last name & date of birth & Country of Birth.
Date of filing of application.
The lady told me to call after 2 weeks and check on the application again.
What does allocation of 8 digit number means?I asked her is this number is UCI then she told yes.
What are my chances of getting PER or DD being encashed.?????

Thats good news for applicants in June...looks like lot of assumptions on cap update is going down the drain if what bullyog claims is true..

It would be really excellent, because CIO considering application which is not issued PER or Encashed on them in its list of received applications.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Call again on the ivr, now this time put ur UCI number and birthyear on IVR and listen does it speaks the date ur file received

It would be really excellent, because CIO considering application which is not issued PER or Encashed on them in its list of received applications.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

otherwise CIO put UCI number on alla applications which are in cap or not. with this assumption, maybe related friend would not gotten PER.

With Cap for 2174 reaching its limit, do you advice me to call and check my UCI status or what exactly should i ask. My file has reached them on 27-June.

Thanks Mandeepji i found that my application was signed by D.MARJETTY received on 4th june where my NOC is 2174 and can anyone tell what is UCI for tracking.

UCI is unique number, which you can get by calling CIC, but only after few weeks of your application received in CIC. You can also get this number in any communication (like PER) you receive from CIC.

Your app reached on 4th june, so you can call and ask for UCI (check Timeline earlier post for number).

When did your application reach? For 2nd week onwards june applicants it may be lil early.
