Got the UCI number at first call ... but ecas showing "Not able to Identify....." ... IVR directing me diretly to agent WITHOUT saying "You app reached ...." .......... So, what does this mean ? Has it been returned ? Does the returned applications till now had UCI number on those ? Or Its just that my payment is Outstanding and soon to be encashed ?

My consultant is based out of canada and he confirmed to me that he has not had the application back.

i am 4/06 applicant.

Dont want to hurt anyones feeling but did people who got there applications back had a UCI no. Marta i hope you wont mind answering this for me.

I Just called up the CIC and got my UCI.
Of course, A UCI just means that CIC has opened your application and begun processing it. It doesn not mean that it has been accepted or rejected or that it will fall in the cap So fingers crossed :-X

I called the CIC just now and received my UCI.

[size=10pt][size=10pt]A UCI is a mere acknowledgement that your application has been received and opened and it is under process. It does not mean that it has been accepted , rejected or will fall in the cap.

The last we know is that 30 may applicant was charged so that means 31 may,3/06 and 4/06 applicantions have not been opened yet.

Follow this order, make sure you hear the number before pressing it.

English...........= 1
Foreign Affairs.= 2
Immigration.....= 2
Call Transfer......
English...........= 1
Status...........= 2
PR Card..........= 2

I called this number and there is virtually nothing they can do. So don't waste your time and money calling them. You will need at least a UCI for them to get talking.
