I got my packet back. The reason for rejection is Spouse Birth certificate.

To get app rejected for such a small reason, after so much of efforts, is a setback. I have kept matriculation certificate, as BC was not available, but it seemed to be of no use.

Really very sad to see your case. Why don't they ask for any missing papers from applicant rather than sending back application.CIC is inefficient n heartless !I find Australian case officers much efficient and co-operative .I did
not hear anything about my 16 th May application by calling or maling them.

Hi Rawdah,

Sent you two PMs bro :P

Finally got the PER today.

Good Luck for the rest of the folks.

I think getting PER is analogous to passing the first trimester of pregnancy after which you can kind breadth easy.

Cheers!

Congrats

Added..Welcome :)
I have assumed that your Application was received on 21st May. Pls check ECAS and let us know the exact date.
When was your cheque encashed? (you can get this information from your PER email)

Hi I just looked at the email and the cheque was cashed on July 29th.

Hi Md.Azad,

Just wondering what stops CIC from processing our cases. We are both 0211. Did you ever apply immigration to Canada before? My case is yes, I did apply and had an UCI. But there is nothing showing from ECAS.

I don't think it's a matter of being inefficient and/or heartless. There is a perfectly clear (in several aspects and I think the documents part is one of them) guide on how to apply and they are even more critical with the completion of the application, so I think is our (applicants) responsibility to send everything the way they ask for.

There are video tutorials on CIC's website stating that you MUST send a complete application, that that's the only way you have a chance to go through the complete process.

Can you imagine the time would take if they needed to check if something is missing, inform the applicant, wait to receive whatever was missing and checking again? If we want the process to be fast, we have to help them, sending everything as stated on the guide.

That's why we must check, check again and check one more time before sending our package. In case of any doubt, there are lots of resources on the internet where you can ask your questions and I'm pretty sure you'll have a reasonable answer which will help you making the right decision.
If it was with me, I would be terribly disappointed with myself, but not with CIC.

All...

The only reason for rejection is spouse Birth certificate, only this was highlighted in the returned form and the letter. I did'nt get a PER.

I thought Matriculation will be taken as proof so kept that, but it did not work. I know it worked for few people, but again it depends on who gets to look at your app. After massive effort on IELTS, universities, Education valuation, going after companies for work experience letters, you will certainly need a bit of luck to get through. In this case I was totally out of it

My take on this is, try to put only BC instead of other documents. You never know how your app can be returned, and once returned you will not be able to do anything since the form is returned in the initial review itself. If you have PER assigned, then you can send explanation and additional documentation.
so sad,..you must need a luck ,...bt u hv to try agn bcz warriors nevr stops or lie down...cumon b a man.lets do it..if nt nw dn in nxt yr

U r first applicant who got PER and vo office is New Delhi...

So finally your case will process first...I thing cic will process few 2013 cases first and then backlogs

Let's see man.. it is cool waiting period - just getting ready for desired job there.. brushing up the skills & enjoying with family.. good stuff overall.. :)

Oh really.. sorry for my ignorance. Did CIC published any processing time table (expected) for FSW 2013 anywhere? (I am sure no- )

Please take note that it is "based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013" so it has nothing to do with FSW 2013.

They do return applications for silly reasons ... Like Spouse Birth Cert ... ! They even lost ppl's IELTS TRF .. I do not think they are efficient at all in dealing with Immigration... for applicants part, it needs luck, ability to run around like a jet before lodgment, super accuracy in filling every little insignificant details and what not .... The missing ingredient is? Guess what, QUALITY of the Applicant ,,, ! Which was the whole Idea of bringing Skilled Migrants.

Australian SkillSelect is what's gonna replace this age-old Canadian Immigration system ... THe only downside is AU Visa Fee is way high.. but atleast qualified candidates have a proper shot, not dependent on Luck but Qualification.
