Hello,

I think taran87, jb1234, kumar987, bantoo, Singh23 and many others whos applications were received before 10th may have not updated their details in spread sheet. Please update your status if you have been charged or got PER. It may help other members to estimate their chances accurately. Please update even if you are still waiting for CC to be charged.

Thanks.

My NOC is 1112. File recieved on 10th May. PER recieved on 11th July. Yesterday I recieved emails for medicial request plus paying RPRF fees in 45 days and submit FBI clearance in 60 days.

I thought before it give you 90 days to get FBI letter, but why now is only 60 days???

I never expect I go this so fast, and that is why I haven't mail my wife's application to FBI yet. ( I will send it today). I called FBI and they told me it will take about 5-6 weeks. But who knows, maybe I am not able to make it on 60 days so i guess i need send some explanation letter to VO later.

Do you guys have any thoughts about this?
ur vo please?

Isn't it faster than routine???? Any comments by anyone. Gill, kindly share your VO & other details. Anyhow, buddy Congrats

I would like to appeal to the silent applicants to come forward and share your details.

There may be many like you who have not shared yet and this is affecting all of us (including yourself) in getting a better idea of CIC processing timings and chances of our fellow members to fall into the cap.

Please share. Thanks in advance !

Finally CIC announces delay due to Strike at VO. :(

Processing times for federal skilled worker applications
Alert – Strike Action

The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) union is currently taking strike action. PAFSO union members responsible for processing visa applications have been walking out of offices in Canada and overseas.

Posted processing times for both temporary and permanent resident visa applications do not take into account work stoppages.

Anyone applying for a visa should anticipate delays and submit their application online as far in advance as possible. Electronic applications give CIC much more flexibility in moving case processing to offices with the capacity to handle them.

Contingency plans are already in place to ensure all offices remain open and are providing at least a minimum level of service. Priority will be placed on urgent humanitarian applications.

CIC continues to closely monitor the situation.

What you think guls & guys...Whether they 'll meet the announced deadline to give results within 12 months?

Yes unfortunately until PER is not received nothing is sure (even after PER application can be rejected if VO has any doubt) ,
but when CC is charged , it gets counted towards the completed application , that is my understanding... :-\, ideally it should be once PER is recieved then application should be considered complete ( but nobody knows exactly what is their guidelines its not very clear from the OP manual )

only when PER is issued then email is forwarded with the language " We have received your application on XXXXX date"
which indicates that they are considering received application as a complete one. but not very clear on this .
Hi, As per my knowlledge and supported by one example in my knowledge - Applicants with un sufficient points (as per CIC calculations), un-authenticity of documents / proofs can also result to rejection, even after charging of DD / CC. More, in that case, one cannot get the refunds too.

Hence, it is always suggested to be more more more careful in preparing documents, calculating points etc. Cheers

I just received my returned application on 08/02/2013 because i forgot to sign the credit card form.
Anyway, what happens when i resend it? Is my application going to be treated like a new one or it will still be considered as a May 23rd application.

It's very highly unlikely that you fall in the cap. But, no one is sure what will happen, you may give a try.
