Everyday we have people who are not there on the spreadsheet update about their PER's. Wonder how many silent readers are there on this forum.. :o :o :o

Hi all,

What is this PER and other terms being used in this forum like AOR. Can someone please list all of these terms and their full form.
It would be great for any new comer like me to understand..

Thanks :)

Hi,
check our spreadsheet and you'll find all important terms.
PER=positive eligibility review
AOR=advise on reception
Mind sharing in green your details?

He means green colour font which can be found on the drop down menu when you are editing. If you can't figure it out, just fill it in the default font colour...

Also I got a weird message from WES asking me to order a duplicate copy in order for CIC to have visibility to my file. Apart from that I logged in to the CIC system with an old UCI and my file says in process.

Any feedback?

When did you get the ECA done from WES? Is it before CIC announced about the ECA? You should order another report from WES as suggested by them so that CIC should be able to view your report. You are one of the lucky early birds, go ahead and order the report from WES before its too late.

Big sorry to all those whose Apps are being returned and Congrats to those whose CC have being charged and PER granted.

Here are some posts from you @ ojooluseguno.

On July 02, 2013 you posted the below:
At long last, I was able to get through to CIC... It seems the ladies there are very considerate than the guys. A fact known after eight successful call.
Now... the lady took my details and check but told me that there is no information log for my application NOC 2147 received on May 8, 2013.
After exercising worries... she suggested that my application might have been received but may not be in process yet.
I just hope Mr Glen Miller passed it to the right office

And on July 09, 2013 you posted this:
I just spoke with a lovely lady at CIC and she informed me that my application was returned on June 25 because they tried several times to charge the CC but it was declined.
DD the best and confirmed choice.
Regards

Does that means it took them just 1week to quickly decide on your file and then try charging your Card? Going by the slow pace of work at CIC, i strongly doubt that. Although you have the final word on that.
Please what type of card did you use and what currency?

Floxzy,

Did you notice something? When Ojool called on July 2nd, agent did not have any info but when he called 9th July, agent told that his file was returned on June 25th. He could have known this on July 2nd also. this really creates doubts about how different agent provides information and on what basis.

I ordered the duplicate coppy as soon as I got the email. My original WES report was after CIC announced WES as one of the accepted providers for this service.

Also, Does anyone have an idea if "in process" in the cic website means "good news"?

Yesterday I also called CIC and the person was helpfull.He tried a lot but not able to find any information regarding my app and he was confirming me again and again with me if I ever traveled to Canada before-In my case no.Then I told him CIC probably processing May 13 th application now and I got an instant answer from agent out of box: I have provided info to people who sent their app on 15th may but only their contact details were mentioned in the system.
And for you I don't have info in our systems ..I am sorry :(
