I have a question, I have applied to CIC in 2011 for the federal skilled worker, however, my application was returned due to cap full. Do i have I UCI number that I need to put in the new application this 2013? Your prompt reply is greatly appreciated because I want to check the status of my application.

Yesterday I also called CIC and the person was helpfull.He tried a lot but not able to find any information regarding my app and he was confirming me again and again with me if I ever traveled to Canada before-In my case no.Then I told him CIC probably processing May 13 th application now and I got an instant answer from agent out of box: I have provided info to people who sent their app on 15th may but only their contact details were mentioned in the system.
And for you I don't have info in our systems ..I am sorry

Then CIC has not touched your application yet. CIC enters phone/email into the system only if application passes stage 1 that is application completeness. they also mention in the system on what date the application was received by CIC.

YEs check on your returned packet generic form
I am also in the same boat but i cant check with that (btw in that file my wife was principal applicant this time I am and my file is also on 12th june which CIC have not still start working)

If your application was returned due to CAP fill then CIC most prbly had not opened your file and in this case they might not have assigned you UCI so you dont have to mention it. Even if you have UCI and forget to mention, CIC will track it and link it with your file. thats what happened in my case.

Yes it was returned due to cap full. The whole application was returned to my including a letter stating that my application was returned due to CAP full. However, I cannot find any UCI assigned in my application.

Where did you find it. The 2 page letter given to me does not have any number with it....??

To know the status of your application by calling cic from outside canada
dial - 0016139444000
select 1 for English
then 1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
call is being transferred to cic
then 1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
8 digit client id number will be asked
listen the request 3 times without entering client id number
then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc
then agent will check in the system and shall give feedback

I have received my PER for 2147 Application (receiving date 10 th May) yesterday night...the best event for our newly married couple...

I am now on my honeymoon at the sea beach.. ..I was detached from this forum. my DD cashed on 8 th July.


Guys one of ques is that I have to update my marital status...my spouse has gone for masters on US on last year.her IELTS score(7.5). So what forms and which infos should I submit...should I submit her pcc for both Bangladesh and USA...??

Hi guys,
guess what, today is my birthday and have received the best present ever........MY PER.....I'm so happy, I can't believe it....the letter is dated 10th July and it says that they have already taken the credit card payment but we can't see it online, I guess it will take a while to show on the bank website...

Hey all.. I'm one of the silent forum followers ( my details already entered in the spreadsheet! )

just wondering - all those who called CIC and managed to speak to the executives - did any of you also ask when are we likely to have the next cap update? Though im sure we wont have a definite answer but even if they say 'next week'.. we'll be saved from checking the CIC cap update website multiple times a day (or am I the only one?) and getting more n more impaitent!!!

Guys we got our PER last night!!!
Celebration is coming.
the mail was receiveid last night on July the 10th and we were very surprised because it took only 2days after charging our cc.
we feel very proud of this acomplishment cause we did not use any representative. we gathered all info from forum and cic site! Sooo grateful for all good people participating here.
we will also contribute to this forum in order to make someone else as happy as we are.
