I wasn't trying to lower anyone's expectations here, actually I'm normally going towards the opposite, so I'm sorry If you interpreted my response in that way.

The number of 4% comes from the stats that we had for previous years - FSW 2011. At that time, all the people on this forum who applied for FSW2011 were about 4% of the global number of applicants. There is a google sheet file in which you can see that (I think you can find it as part of the signature of several users here). So that's our base value, from which we're guessing further.

The ratio of applicants on this forum and global applicants is kind of the biggest unknown that we're all trying to asses and figure out, since if we'd know that then we could infer when will the cap be met, is there still chance etc.
But we DON'T know that, we're just guessing, obviously some better, some worse, we'll know more in a month and even more in 2 months.

I couldn't agree more with you that the applications fell down rapidly and low after May/June, it's just that no one here knows if it's enough and for whom it will be quick enough. Good luck with your application and if you can - do it quickly and thoroughly.

If you see in our spreadsheet even initially we have applicaiton @ 65-70 per week and later its reducing. . . .
everything will be clear after one or two CAP update form CIC. . . . hopefully this weed we have one

Please let me know what is the minimum IELTS score required for Spouse.
For Primary Applicant its mandatory to score CLB 7.0. Is any CLB requirement
is there for Spouse as well.

Spouse should get minimum L-4.5, R-3.5, W-4, S-4 for primary applicant to obtain 5 points.

Late applicants silently praying for TONS of REJECTIONS on early applicants within their own NOC
"...may their cc fail encashment"
"...may they leave an important field blank"
"...may they forget to submit an important supporting doc"
...so on and so forth
Late applicants, silently resenting every new good news of payment encashed...


The early applicants (those who haven't yet gotten good news) praying for the official cap numbers to finally start moving, hitting the browsers refresh button every 90 seconds, looking to see if the guy who'se app was received the same day got their good news already...


This has been a very dramatic thread. I agree with balka though, there's hope for everyone, for the early submitters and even for the late submitters 8)

I just spoke with a lovely lady at CIC and she informed me that my application was returned on June 25 because they tried several times to charge the CC but it was declined.

DD the best and confirmed choice.

I am sorry to hear that! Credit card has this risk factor of the transaction not going through due to many reasons. Its is really sad when such a thing happens.

May I know what is the number you called on ?

My mode of payment is also credit card. I was wary of these CC issues. So, I submitted details for 2 Credit Cards with a note that if one fails please charge the other. I am not sure whether that helps or not!
