Hi Bantoo,

It depends on the stage your application was at when it was returned, they might have given it a UCI....HOWEVER you may very well be jumping the gun in thinking that you have been rejected. It is still early days yet.....Give it another week and then you can worry. Try not to be bothered by all the bright green filling up the spreadsheet.

Thank you guys for your thoughts but I called cic many times but be it ladies or gentlemen they checked and could not find any info even to as whether they received the file.
This is the cause of my worry. If I atleast know they have sent back ,I can think of other options ....

Hi Bantoo - I am in same boat at you. Try not to stress (I know it's HARD!). Have you ever had a visitor visa or any other sort of visa for Canada? I have noticed a minor trend that people with canadian background are taking a bit longer to clear. I am a former PR so am not expecting to hear anything that soon but the waiting is definitely hard. Anyway, as Islandbabe said - I really think you are jumping the gun to assume a return at this point and I will keep fingers crossed for you

Thank u so much for ur thoughts but I had never applied earlier for Canada but have travelled to quiet a few countries and also stayed in the U.K for about 5 years.
I would like to ask u whether u can check with ur previous uci the status of ur application.

I am getting a bit bored with our spreadsheet today though......its CIC's cap count table that I have been thinking about lately....updates please!!!!!

Well hopefully this afternoon will get as good as or even better than yesterday, and things will get better as the money starts flying out of peoples accounts.
