Lol just read the last page of this thread and thought I had fallen off the edge!! Wondering how this topic ever got started? For those of you not in Canada right now, it is scorching hot here in many places from coast to coast. Usually long weekends are cool and rainy - just because families want to go camping then! This Canada Day will be hot and dry and the night time fireworks will be great. To those near and far, whether you will celebrate in the country this year or hopefully by next, a very peaceful, Happy Canada Day everyone!!

The spreadsheet can only be edited by the administrators. Post your details here in green and the administrators will add it.

hi guys,
Is there any problem, if someone posts my FSW application from Ontario? Actually there is a small correction in my application. The courier is with DHL Canada. So I thought of diverting my courier to a friend in Ontario and get it corrected and then send to CIO. So would that be an issue?

No, it will not. You should do that as it is much better than to send it with a mistake.
Good luck.

Assest: any flat, home, land, gold value in CAD $ (NA if do not have)
Liabilities: any kind of Bank loan or any other liabilities (NA if do not have)
Settlement fund: 17,500 CAD $

If you can not write NA in assets and liabilities then print the form (after filling all other areas) and write it by hand but do not keep it blank.

Hello Bharat1986,

Please find the following instruction from Application Guide 7000:

a) Assets
Indicate the total amount (in Canadian dollars) of fixed deposits, savings accounts, pensions, etc.

b) Liabilities
Indicate the total amount (in Canadian dollars) of real property mortgages and any other personal debts.

c) Total funds available for settlement in Canada
With consideration to your total assets and liabilities, indicate the total amount (in Canadian dollars) of unencumbered, transferable and available funds that you have for settlement in Canada.

For Eg:

Assets = CAD 17500 (It should be Liquid amount that can be transferred such as *Current bank certification letter or evidence of savings balance or Fixed deposit statements. It should not include House, Land, Gold Etc)
Liablities = 0 (It will be blank in PDF form)
Total funds available for settlement in Canada = CAD 17500 (Assets-Liablities)

matter is clear now. :)

To anyone who has emailed a query to CIC after waiting the 6 weeks (+++!) without hearing anything - did you get an automated response saying to wait a certain number of days before expecting a response from CIC? I think I remember someone saying I would receive an email saying to expect to wait 20 days but I send the email last week and have had no response whatsoever from CIC. Anyone else experience this or did you all at least get an automated email response?

And to Jigzyy and Laksmisesh - our applications were all received at same time on 10 May so fingers crossed for us all this week! Just FYI though - my mum (who is a Canadian Citizen) says lots of governmental agencies shut/limit service for more than one day for Canada Day so we shouldn't panic if things don't start happening at pace tomorrow...

kumar .noc :2174,visa office means i send my application from hyderabad to canada to my bother..so they mailed to sydney,ca,reciever-mike.so my brother mailed on 08/05/2013 and it recieved on 10/05/2013.ielts total band score -6.5,work experince-3 years, batchelor of engg, relative in canada yes.job offer-no.

will you please update into spreadsheet.
and my queries in vo they are mentioning new delhi likethat...in india so many guys will send from different places..why they are mentioning new delhi..its better to mention india..iam rite?
so i will get file number this week...

As per my understanding , in instruction manual
(more clarity for those who are in the forum)
processing is composed of many steps , first few steps are

1. completeness check of the received application

2. Assessing the application against Ministerial instruction on the date of application

3. Assessing the application against minimum requirements

For those so far have got their DD or CC en cashed their application is not yet assessed against minimum requirement( step 3 above ) ,
it is only checked for step 1 and 2 above i.e. if CIO decides that it is eligible for processing ( at step 2 ) then issues Positive eligibility Review
( PER) and at this step the processing fee is non refundable.

Hi friends,

First of all as per the spreadsheet, we have the following statistics for NOC 2174:-

Computer & Media Developers - 2174
==================================
Total apps received: 84
Global Applications: 840
Global Acceptance: 756
Maximum per NOC: 300

Secondly, I have gone through the detailed process given by CIC from the following link:-
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06c-eng.pdf
As per the process, the fee is encashed when a PER is already decided

Thirdly, In the spreadsheet itself, we have 9 of our friends with encashed fee receipts for the category 2174 out of the total 15 given on the CIC website (assuming files received till 9th May 2013 have been checked for eligibility). So, the percentage of the users on forum should be around 60%

How can the Global Applications number be 840 then. It should be around 150.

Please correct me if I am wrong. May be I have not fully understood the terminology used in Spreadsheet. In either case can someone please clarify the above terms and how have these been calculated.

Thanks,
Amit

New Delhi is the capital of India and a place where the Embassy of Canada is located. Therefore, it is the right visa office to be put on your application. I assume there is only one visa office that processes FSW applications in India. Correct me if I am wrong.

Finally some accounting knowledge! Of course cash is an Asset. Add cash to your car(s), property, gold and other investments to get the total of Assets. Can be a conservative approximate!
