I have same set of document attached along with the cover letter and have almost similar job duties including the java technologies that I work on. I wonder why its taking so long for my CC to be charged..

My application was filed on may 8th 9.35 am. :'(

I am loosing my mind..and thinking what is that thing thats holding my application back...
I am setting my mind to re-apply if they send it back..wish they send it back soon if at all they have rejected it for any reason..

I agree we do need an update......Civeng...I truly think it depends on the quality of the letter you wrote and the supporting documents you provided. I have seen people get rejected as was stated for writing the job duties exactly as is BUT I have also seen people who do it get PER's and eventually visa. Just keep your hope and faith up.

I am a bit worried about the letters of reference we provided. The duties are a mix of 70% 2131 and 30% 2234, but we wrote exactly as per NOCs because it is exactly what my husband does...We sent originals (not copies of letters of ref) and CIC could contact all firms as what we wrote is 100% true and can be confirmed by the contact persons in each letter...Should we also be worried of rejection??Any input is appreciated!!

This and the fact that in the Fee payment form we only wrote the amounts needed to be payed=1400cad(550/550/150/150) (and not also numbers in the case of AS(1) and dependent children(2)) makes me very anxious and I pray that they won't be so strict

Yes I agree with Islandbabe. However, I did that yesterday like 3 times but the ladies at call center wouldnt give any information at all.
But You might get lucky in getting information like Harry and Haung so please go ahead and let us know.

Dude, CIC is charging based on 1st come 1st serve basis. Thats how the trend i am seeing in our spreadsheet. May be by end of next week, we may see a lot of people's cc's or dd's or mo's been charged. Dont lose hope my friend!

I am yet to submit my application to CIC cos of WES delay. My WES report will be delivered on jul 01, mon. I intend submitting the next day jul 02 all other documents are ready. What are my chances? My noc is 1112. Also, do cic put calls thru to employers to confirm reference letters.

Hi Vats, I can not answer you in private, because I don't have 10 posts ,yet.But you scared me a lot..my letters from employers are more general.It is written about my duties, but not in so many words.
I have to wait for a few days, because my file arrived on 14th may, but I hope for the best..it's the only choice..)
And for sure, I don't like my postman..he creeped me of several times this days..thank God is weekend...no bad news..)

Seems like they are charging CC's and DD's of 5/9 for 2174 for the last 3 days now... number of applications seems to be huge for the first week. I am curious what the next cap update will show. Also, where are 2147 charges??? :
