I think good news is about to arrive for me as well.
Today I saw that my available limit on credit card was declined for about 1.100$
But still I don't see transaction, usually it takes some time. It will be probably tomorrow, maybe even in Monday.
So, please don't update spreadsheet until I confirm that this is it.

Anyways, I feel much, much better because I don't use my CC for anything else, especially not in this pretty-much exact amount

You shouldn't have a charge for $1100 if your credit card is US dollar denominated. Its should be something like 1,059.45 USD since a US dollar is 1.05 $ CAD and that is plus bank charges.

My NOC is 2147.
1. I just read here on this forum that in 2011 an application was refused based on thr job duties. (Cause of refusal was Job Duties copy paste from CIC website to work reference letter). Mine are written based on CIC website too. I haven't sent my app yet so can someone advise me on this.
2. In the Document checklist says copies of passports and national ID's. Does this documents need to be notarized or no?

We instructed a lawyer when submitting our application and their position was:

1) it's a big no no to copy paste job descriptions into reference (issue here being that the reference letters are supposed to be written by the employers as opposed to you [obviously in practice most people do write their own references for their employers to simply sign but this is irrelevant in terms of what CIC want to believe happens...] and it would be very unlikely that an employer would end up writing word for word the NOC job descriptions. What you want are descriptions that clearly align with the NOC wording (and what you actually did) while not being copied verbatim

2) if the document checklist says "copy" then all you need is a simple copy as opposed to a notarized copy (although I must admit, as the law firm submitted on our behalf, it is possible they notarized the scans we sent them but they definitely did not tell me they were going to do this and I did ask whether notarized copies were necessary and they said only when we were providing translations)

There definitely has been at least one post where someone copied verbatim and everything was ok so don't lose hope! Lawyers definitely do tend to play things super safe and everything depends on your specific visa officer. I will keep fingers crossed for you.

As per my courier status, my application has reached CIC i.e. may 10 th 2013 morning for this category.

Could anyone tell what are my chances to get into the 300 mark ?
when can i get file number?

Don't be so scared. Is it that you just copy pasted the roles and responsibilities? or You don't fall into 2174 category all together?
You may post the experience letters so that experts on this forum can scare away your scare...

1. Write and modify the software code as per requirements.
2. Perform requirement analysis of products and prepare documentation on that basis.
3. Assistance in determining the deadlines for the products and Create architecture wireframes.
4. Perform unit testing on the software code and optimize it for best performance.
5. Provide guidance to team members on technical issues and understanding processes.
6. Maintain existing products by appropriate code changes and proper versioning.
7. Prepare the Help documentation and flowcharts of the product functioning for the End Users.

You should be safe and well within the cap. Since they are now working on May 9th/10th applications already (as per the CC/DD charges) you should be having the good news latest by end of next week.

I do fall fully in 2174. Full programmer job. But my job duties are very generic not specific. My employer was not much interested to give me job duties himself so I had to write it myself.
