Sent via which service?

Through EMS by USPOST, from US to Canada, Express Delivery. The delivery time was promised as 3-7 business days and now US Post says they do not know about the delay in Halifax.

Hi guys, can someone pls help me to sort this out?

My express mail seems to be stuck in the Halifax sorting center from 5th June on wards on its way to CIO. Has anyone come across the same situation? Is there a way that I can check the reason for the delay. (their online help services only support for the domestic mails)

Thanks in advance

What courier did you use? I remember I had a 3day delay also when I used DHL at their sorting center before it was delivered. It will definitely be delivered.

There are about 10 applicants of 2132 who haven't reported their deliveries yet. Will make a lot of difference on the CAP guesstimate in the spreadsheet.

MR GRAVITY, get the details from them.

Thanks!

Previous records show that CIC updates caps on Wed / Thu. So it's either today or next week Thu. Keep refreshing the Complete Application Page and beat the sh1t out of that today :P

Also, the fastest PER for the early birds in 2011 got in about 60 ~ 70 days. So, about 30 days to go for first 10 days applicants.

Thats weird. Its either that they have 1 weekly delivery to Sydney, or maybe left aside for no reason. You have to be on top of the company to get back to you on the status either from Halifax or wherever their nearest center is.

Which NOC you are applying for?

that means still it will take time to hear something form CIC????

Looks like yes. At least 2 weeks.

I am hoping the 2011 spreadsheet is not a reflection of what is going to happen with FSW 2013! Otherwise, this is going to be depressing news for a lot of us in the hot NOCs. For example in 2011, 1122 filled up within 5 working days. If we extrapolate that to NOC 1112 in 2013, a lot of us will be outside of the cap. However, there was no ECA back then. Also, I hear Chinese applicants need some extra assessment of their education this time around. So I assume it will be at least 10 working days for the hot NOCs to fill up. But what do I know? Happy waiting...

It was 8th or 9th day. Not on 5th.

Hi All,

I know we all are speculating. My app was recd on May 14th. I am doing it thru a law firm based in Toronto. So the communication address given is my law firm's one.

What are the chances that if my app was rejected then I should have known it by now, because the package shd have been recd by now by my lawyer?

It took 7 days for Marta's one, so for me also it would be the same.

So any guesses.

Exactly Jigzzy which is why I reposted the 2011 timeline, to show applicants that it will be a while still before the masses start receiving their PER .....so their is still a way to go. CIC is very much later than usual with the cap updates, Today being Thursday maybe that will change, however when it comes the cap update really wont be of much use to applicants in the hot NOCs, they don't state the dates that they have checked off...ie......Cap count 250 ( for applications received up to May 12th, 2013) so you have no idea when they got to that 250 "completed" forms, plus they could on that date have 700 more forms to check through.

So..........................Happy Waiting :)
