This gives a lesson that instead of solely relying on others advice blindly you should validate the same before passing it on to the world !!

Dear huzcan,
I'm not one of those who keep defending their mistakes regardless of what the facts say. It requires a BIG heart to accept that you were at fault and then move on. If I was a coward afraid of what others might think of me, I would have never made this post. And because I'm genuinely concerned about the well being of prospective applicants, it really doesn't matter as to what you think of me.

Secondly, I was not following other's advice blindly. If there is no explicit mention of notarization in the Checklist, then it can be assumed from the Guide that it may be required for all documents.

CIC's instructions may never be taken to be completely error proof as is evident from the Document Checklist which was released twice, once on the 4th of May in haste and then much later on the 17th of May.

Every one makes mistakes and no one is completely error proof. Unless you realize this, there is no way you can learn and improve your future actions.

I hope it makes things much clear now.
