Overall, there are 145 applicants on the spreadsheet.

42/145 = New Delhi. About 29%.
25/145 = London. About 17.25% [Remember: London Visa Office deals about 8 - 10 different countries & not just UK]
15/145 = CPP-Ottawa & Singapore each. About 10.34% each.
9/145 = Vieanna & Manila each. About 6.20% each.

Yes that's normal.

Thank you kashka.....one more question.....as the bar code is on two pages (one page only with barcode and the other along with the declaration). Do we have to put both the pages in the top of application or which one???

Federal skilled workers who applied to the CIO and have a request for case information may contact the Client Service Unit (CSU). Note that if your application has already been sent to the visa office for processing, the CIO will not be able to help you.

You will not receive a reply to your email if:
•you have not already applied as a federal skilled worker;
•you are not authorized by the applicant to receive personal information;
•you applied within the last six weeks; or
•your enquiry concerns a topic other than your case.

The above refers to CIC advise if you want info on your application.

So guys I guess after 6 weeks you can send all the emails you want but in the meantime we just gotta wait.

Same thing I pondered too so I placed the two pages on top since they stated that the barcodes should be on top.

I am wondering how CIC would inform me on the status, if it is rejected, accepted for next step, or incomplete materials, by email, mailing or other ways?

Hello Everyone,

Please I am getting confussed with a lot of information here.
Can someone help me analyse certain infos. more.
The 24 eligible occupation - is it the only quailified occupation that can apply now?
And besides, the website further talked about the NOC codes and occupation, which has more
occupation groups listed on it. And it says it is the minimum requirements.

I don't see my occuption in the 24 eligible but I see it in the NOC occupation list & codes.
Where do I belong and am I eligible?

Hope it helps.

They do open your stuff , then check it and once of its not within 300 they send you your package along with a letter as to why they are sending you the package. i.e the miniterial cap of 300. dont remeber the whole wording
If something is missing even then they send it back stating the reason for rejecting.
if you fall short of 67 points they then even send it back to you explaing how they have calculated your points and that it falls short of 67 .
If they accept it then they send you an email stating youur UCI and application Number and that your case and documents have been forwarded to the respective visa office.
Hope it helps

corrections:

if you fall short of 67 points they then even send it back to you explaing how they have calculated your points and that it falls short of 67 .
---- if your packge is COMPLETE, but fall of 67, then they will CHARGE your credit card....

but, if your package is INCOMPLETE, they will not even calculate your points or whatsoever.... they will RETURN your package as incomplete AFTER 4 MONTHS of filling the caps. REMEMBER: 4 MONTHS.

above is not my IDEA/THOUGHT, that's the fact as that happened to my two peers.

Since the time I have submitted my application, I am trying to forget that I have applied for piece of my mind; but everyday I login to various blogs to check how are things going on for other mates interested to be in Canada. Wait period is always been toughest period for me ~

I wish there was a tracking system from day 1 of your application receiving date. Proper timelines should be provided to candidates for better visibility – after all we have Rights to Information.

Experts, I have specific question around background checks – I had supporting funds in my account but last weekend there was medical emergency at my home (father met accident) and have spent some money from the funds available in rush (just 300 CND short of limit now). I will get claim money from insurance by end of this week and my account will be back to expected balance. Can you please suggest if the shortage of balance for couple of weeks may affect the back ground verification process? Also, please suggest at what time these checks do happen?

I want to see no surprises for sure :)
