I think a little modification can be useful... if you change the column title to be "According to 2011 analysis" so we can add later "According to 2013 analysis"!!

I hope what you are saying should be the actual way of considering potentiality of candidate.

English or French is not my first language.

I and my wife got 7 band in IELTS and we have done DELF A2 AND TELF exam in french..I do have 9 yrs of experience and 1.5 Years in canada also I do have relative in Toronto. My wife has other NOC job which is again in the list of current NOC list!!

Even though I think this would not help!

Its all about matter of LUCK my friend!!

Yes, when they would look on our applications on that way it might be beneficial for some of us maybe
But points system is fair and I believe it's working fine for everybody. Some of us have better language points, some other guys have more experience, others may have great education etc....

My lovely wife is also on the list of 24 eligible occupations but since her NOC 1112 is very "hot" we decided to go through my occupation, although she has more than 10 years of experience in financial industry.

Oh thanks, I guess I have to get a new one again just to be sure.... I was just confused because they did not indicate any validity as compared to the police certificates.

I assume you are attaching the bank certificate to support your proof of funds. Bank certificates usually don't have any validity date, they just mention the balance on a specific date and the account maintenance dates since start till the date of issue. Just try that the certificate is the latest one mentioning the balance which you will maintain in the account which can be confirmed by CIC, in case.

Good one. Just need a little clarification for better understanding. What's the logic of putting "varying" dividing factor of 0.1, 0.065, 0.05, 0.04 etc. I know we need to put multiplying factor (of say 50) to represent the global applications as this forum would account only 2-3 % of global applications. Are these dividing factor figures based on last year actual figures or its just your assumption, which though seems near to actual.

i dont think they will give confirmation for docs received. As and when ur CC is charged, or DD is encashed assume that your documents, prima facie, are complete and correct and you are in the cap. However, all the documents will be further scrutinized later.

Impressive NOC analysis..

I have another observation which I would like to share..

There will be many people who will be tweaking their experience letters to fall in the qualifying NOCS, which as per me is no good.

It would be more heartbreaking if your application gets rejected at a later stage, due to unsatisfactory job experience.

I know for a fact many prospective applicants who earlier qualified under NOC 1122, must have tweaked their duties for NOC 1112. However, there is a substantial difference in both.

For e.g. I met a guy when I went to my university for getting the transcripts, he told me that he is also applying under 1112. When I asked where he worked, first he said in an insurance company (a reputed one- well all insurance cos are reputed). Then when I asked what he does, he said analysis, n I asked of what, he said insurance and gives financial advice on insurance. I told him that I don’t that’s good enough for 1112 (since I think he is an investment advisor or insurance broker which is definitely not what 1112 is).

Well, in the end he said, I have arranged everything what is required from my company to qualify for noc 1112, good terms with manager etc. etc.

Just imagine how many ungenuine applications must be there for each NOC, making the race more difficult for the genuine ones. As per the previous posts, I think NOC qualification are verified at a later stage, so expect ungenuine NOC applications to eat up cap numbers.
