Dont know what else u can do. Never used DD before so hope someone experienced with DD can help you.

hi.. iam new to this forum, i want to ask that if before the review of the the fille, the dd gets expired than wahat will cic do, will they reject the file or they will ask u to send a new dd :-[

CIC is currently charging applicants of 23rd May and ur application reached CIC on 31st May. Just pray to god that by 7th August, CIC must encash ur DD otherwise your package might be returned as has happened to some of the members in the past.

or else can i sent the signed fee payment form with credit card details.

is it possible to send a new dd without the uci.

Its upto u to send the new dd and its upto CIC to decide whether they will entertain ur new DD.
But u can always try it out, there is no harm in it.

Folks. I have a similar issue. I sent them a new DD with a cover letter. I have to wait to find out what happens. Worse case I am going to get at least the second package with new DD returned stating that it was not requested. And may be (God forbid) the original packages too might be back too ??? anyways my money is safe :

I called CIC prior to sending the DD, they recommended not to send the DD as it might cause confusions and delay. I still sent it anyways!

I am from Pakistan, my DD is valid for six month. I used the Habib Bank serivce (HBL) for my DD.

Local DD is valid for 6 months and international ones expire in 3 Goddamn months.
