I have been silent for some time and reading the posts. Congrats to all those who got their CC/DD charged and special thanks to the admins for their hard-work and dedication for making this forum so successful and interesting.

One new question just arrived in my mind...when they say visa process will take 1 year (for 2013 FSW)...does it mean 1 year from application of FSW to getting visa stamped on ur passport?

Do you think this year it will be done in less than 1 year or will take more than 2 year or so.....your perspectives please...

My application was received on 15th May and paid through bank DD. Now bank is checking the status and still showing uncleared.

But another twist, India's largest bank says that although it may be cleared but our system will reflect only after 7-10 days due to reconciliation process.

I contacted the foreign branch of same bank and got the answer that you contact the issuing branch.

Really although DD is safe way to pay but we have to be remain very much frustrated until some further information.

Seniors please suggest what should I do, shall I call CIC or wait ? Waiting is very frustrating.

wait for a week you will defenitely get PER.
you can send CSE to CIC via email
you will get answer in 12 working days
but still I advise wait for a week . . . . .
