Wow my expectations of this week...its hard to say as CIC works at their own pace, no matter how much faster we would like them to work.........

At the current rate, they may get through applications for May 10th, and even start the 13th.......I think on Friday we will still be at the 13 as CIC received quite alot of files on that day. With many more charges for the forum applicants of course :D :D :D maybe about 3 persons will also get PER's this week and of course another cap update, that will really show us whats going on with the intake.

Of course I also think Dexter will ask for some vacation....he MUST be tired! :D
Amen. love the way you wish for everyone. very innocent and pure at heart. God bless you.

Hello again, guys.

For those that had their CC charged already, did your bank call you to confirm that there is a pending charge from IMMIGRATION CANADA FSW? or did the transaction just posted automatically from CIC?

The reason i'm asking is that my CC's approval is system-based. Meaning, if there are any transactions that are unusual (something this big and not ordinary), the system usually puts it on hold until the I, the card owner, confirms that it is indeed a valid transaction. I already called the bank three (3) times the past week that I am expecting this transaction by telling them the "vendor" and "amount".. they just could not give me a 100% assurance that it will not be declined due to everything being a system thing.

Any feedback regarding this matter? Anybody got calls from their banks for confirmation? Does CIC wait for this confirmation or will they automatically decline my application? Aaaaaarrrrrrgh.. too much thinking is getting into my head.

In our sheet we have
16 applicants on May 10th &
19 applicants on May 13th + almost 12 remaining applicants from May 9th as well who are still waiting for their cc/dd encashment.

with current CIC speed, it seems difficult to complete May 13th applicants till coming Friday :( :( ::)

is it possible for you to have same card (new one) form bank and old one blocked?
No
I am not sure bank can issue that but this is what you can try form bank (that is also immidiately)
other thing if possible can your bank block all the transition other than to cic?
The card is bloked already, and its "one way ticket"..
You must try some alternative with your bank. . . . .

New Delhi is the capital of India and a place where the Embassy of Canada is located. Therefore, it is the right visa office to be put on your application. I assume there is only one visa office that processes FSW applications in India. Correct me if I am wrong.
There's another in Chandigarh to cater to the increasing needs of Punjabi/Sikh community but ultimately New Delhi is the central office and responsible for economic class visas.

...
Nope, not in my case.
I just saw record once transaction has been commited.
But they did called my friend when he applied two year ago (he is now happy PR in CA)

It is possible that they didn't called me since I spoke with by personal banker at least three times regarding this upcoming transaction.

For all those worrying about mistakes in applications sent - just take a chill pill. I'm sure everyone must have made one minor mistake or the other.

IMO, if it's not a major error like missing a signature or missing a form, then it should be fine!
