Further I was wondering how random are these interview calls. I dont think they are random looking at the percentage of interviews being called. I am only talking about London VO. There are 12 London VO applicants in the spread sheet under NOC 1112. 10 have been called for interview. 83 % till now.. !!!!! same for NOC 2174. 8/10 applicants have been called for an interview... 80% .. such high rate of interviews dont potray a random selection. Seems like they are interviewing everyone!!!! one by one!!!

Just landed back home. Way too tired to write everything. But I'll write it in a day or two. I agree with you Mahyn on this. The Visa Officer who interviewed me told that he's been taking interviews since 2 weeks and will be here another week. So I guess, for 1112 / 2174, everyone will get interview.

It's the nature of the field I guess.

Hi Guys, got Passport request email today. Here are my details:

Visa office - CPP-O (Looks like now the name is changed to CPC . Case Processing Center)
NOC - 3214
App filed - July 10th
Med results received on Jan 28th
Passport request - Feb 27th

Fellow CPP (sorry CPC) applicants, did you send your passport through Fedex or Canadapost? Did you have to include a cover letter?

Seniors/Experts/Canadian PR Holders
Have following questions if any know know.

1) myself and spouse received PR Visas on our passports but our 4 month old who is an american citizen (with american passport) did not, though we all received COPRs. Did CPP-O forgot to put a visa or they generally don't put it for infants/kids?

2) As we have a 4 month old baby i was thinking myself alone can complete the landing procedure at toronto and then come back after applying for SIN and Health Card
a. can i apply for all family member SIN's or just for me?
b. can i apply for my health card and come back...so that when we migrate after 3-4 months i have a health insurance?
c. can i apply for my spouse and infants health card along with mine so that they have health card in 3-4 months ...by the time they migrate? Currently it takes 3 months to get a health card in Ontario.

Please help.

I have recvd my passports and the pacakage includes PP, CoPR, ECA..... do NVDO returns IELTS score card as the same may be reqd in canada during job hunt.

first of all congrats.
answer to your question is... as your child is a US citizen, he doesn't require a visa to enter. CORP is the only doc required for him.

hi all,

I am going to apply for PR for upcoming scheme.
We are living in ahmedabad. My wife has studied in banglore for 4 years 2003 to 2007. My consultant is saying that You have to take Police verification certificate(PVC) or Police Clearence Certificate (PCC) compulsorily for the place where you have stayed more than 6 months therefore, I have to take PCC for my wife from banglore for that four years. I have inquired from my sources in banglore, banglore police is saying that i have to apply to local passport office for (PCC) and ahmedabad passport office will send documents to banglore police station regarding PCC or PVC and they will send PCC or PVC to ahmedabad passport office. Thereafter I have inquired to my regional passport office, the passport officer has told me that my wife is living in ahmedabad for more than 1 year so there is no need to take PVC or PCC from banglore and they will give me PCC for Ahmedabad only.

So guys after this much big story can you help me out?
1. what are requirements for PVC or PCC?
2. is my consultant is right or the passport officer?
3. I have seen few same cases in past who got visa without this kind of PVC or PCC. so this rules has been changed?

Pls. guide me.

my suggestion is fire the consultant...you dont need him.. this forum and CIC website are sufficient to file the application.....and get PCC from ahmdabad...its sufficient.....
