Second line appeared in the ecas today: We started processing your application on February 24, 2014.

Missed a heart bit beat (typo in excitement ) when i saw it! Thanks to everyone for the well wishes - things are moving ahead.

hi, Lot of member are talking sending passport through VFP. What is it? do they have any website? how is it safer then courier.

Its VFS not VFP.Please visit vfs-canada.co.in you will get all the info.

This is basically a correction for the spreadsheet, it says my status as "started processing on 25th feb" while it actually is 21st feb.

Hi Guys, got Passport request email today. Here are my details:

Visa office - CPP-O (Looks like now the name is changed to CPC . Case Processing Center)
NOC - 3214
App filed - July 10th
Med results received on Jan 28th
Passport request - Feb 27th

Fellow CPP (sorry CPC) applicants, did you send your passport through Fedex or Canadapost? Did you have to include a cover letter?

Three Star - Thank you very much. You looked at my post this morning and replied and I get my Passport request in the evening. You are a HERO

I am going to send the requested document to CPP-O through Canadapost. I think UPS and Canadapost are good options and I have never tired Fedex.

And I think the cover letter is necessary.
