it depends on place to place....in Andhra in my place even though U pay 1 crore...they don't allow U without a slot in psk.....but in some states they were allowing without appointment....it was a horrible experience for me....i have to finally get through an agent by bribing 2k and he managed the slot for me....all this online bookings are managed by brokers....u first walk to ur psk and enquire there if they allow or not and also U can find agents in the surroundings of psk

I don't know about your place in Andhra......but I blocked slots online myself twice....took 2 PCCs.....,,
Just paid service fee for PSK i.e. 0.5K......I really do not understand why paid 2k for slot?

i rem we were told in CIIP session that one of their attendees earns approx 100000 cad annually as commercial truck driver....though he was an engineer in india....and it took him 1.5 yrs to get the license.....

i have done some search on internet & found the following detail for OO:
Price of 2nd hand truck/trailer = $90,000 approx.[/color]
Average income = $16,000/month
Expenses (approx.)per month i.e
Fuel = $7000
Bank EMI = $1000
Maintenance (service+tyre etc.) =$800
Insurance = $600
Toll tax = $800
Income tax = $1100
Misc. expenses = $250
Total = $11,550
net income per month = $4450
per year = $53400
per hour (if 60 hours per week) = $17.2 per hour[/color]
note : despite depreciation not considered

Categories of Applicants allowed as “Walk-In with ARN” : With Effect from 20th Sept 2013.

Following mentioned categories of applicants are allowed as “Walk-in Applicants”. Applicants falling under these categories need to register Online, fill in the online application form and generate Application Reference Number (ARN) at least one day in advance before visiting the PSK. Such applicants may visit the PSK with required set of documents and a copy of printed ARN sheet between 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM only.
Applications in respect of Senior Citizens (60 Years and above).
Applications in respect of Differently Abled Citizens.
Applications in respect of infants below 3 years of age whose parents hold valid passports, with one of the parent's passport containing Spouse name.
Applications for issue of Police Clearance Certificate.
‘On Hold' Files.
Applicants who were refused token due to lack of necessary documents can re-visit the respective PSKs within next 3 working days (T+3), subject to their Appointment Sheet is duly endorsed by the respective ‘Heads of PSK' during their earlier visit to PSK on the appointed date and time.
Central Government employees and their dependent minor children.

I am not sure what to do. I have applied in May'13 for FSWP, however, my wife is expecting and not sure what to do next if I get medical now.

Can Some one tell me the possibility of delay in this regards and also what should I reply once I received Medical to CIC?

I'm 27th May applicant in NOC 2147. As I was very busy on projects during past couple of months I missed a lot of useful information posted by you.

As I also checked our colorful tracking spreadsheet, I understood that there were a lot of lucky guys who received MR's and Visas during past months.
Congrats to all of those who have finished the immigration process and wishing all others the best of luck on this way.

I was trying to contact CIC over telephone through this number: +1-888-2422100. I tried this number months ago when I was waiting to received PER and they helped me to receive updates. Unfortunately I have not received any correspondence from CIC or Visa offices after 12th August.

When I try the number mentioned above I hear the following message: "YOUR CALL CANNOT BE COMPLETED AS DIALED. PLEASE CHECK THE NUMBER AND DIAL AGAIN"

Can someone please advise on a solution/alternative number ?

you can try calling through SKYPE( if you have credit) or else install magicjack in Android phone and you can call.
