When I am trying to pay online, it is showing next appointment slot is available on 12/03/2014 i.e. I will have to wait for more than a month. ??? ??? ???

yes, you can directly visit the passport with filled printout forms and other required docs

If your passport is made from Bangalore then in that case you must visit the Passport Seva Kendra and you will get ur PCC in Just 1 hr or 2.

I like to add one more thing if your address mention in passport and your present address is same then you will get the PCC same day, if your address is different then you have to wait for 10-15 days

Thanks once again ITGuy, I got your point and it is fine as well. But I am more worried about appointment.. I hope you are sure that we can just walk in to PSK to get PCC, hope recently they have not changed any rules!!!

it depends on place to place....in Andhra in my place even though U pay 1 crore...they don't allow U without a slot in psk.....but in some states they were allowing without appointment....it was a horrible experience for me....i have to finally get through an agent by bribing 2k and he managed the slot for me....all this online bookings are managed by brokers....u first walk to ur psk and enquire there if they allow or not and also U can find agents in the surroundings of psk
