Mike Conn at CIO Sydney office.

Coincidentally, my profession chemical Engineer NOC 2134 was capped
today 11/02/2014 after the receipt of my application.

Please I wish to know if I am among the lucky 300 applicants.

Can anyone help please.

I am sorry but forget it. Umm abdullah filled his app on 13th Jan and got his CC charged today which coincided with the caps update today. My assumption is that the latest update is for apps filled up to 13th Jan 2014 and so the next update will be up to 20th January. If this assumption is proved to correct then you can forget it because that will be well ahead of your 11 February 2014 filling date.

That is my view but I may be proved wrong. Anyway I wish all the best for the future.

Sorry to tell u buddy but i think CIO is processing 2013 december applicants and u didnt make it
Try other ways of immigration or wait until may

I still can't believe I'm through with this process and that I'll have to check my eCAS no more. 9 months wasn't a big deal afterall, seeing how many years some of the deserving mates had to wait only to see rejection.

Some homework is done and some more is yet to be done. Hope to find more help here for the next step such as that rawdah, sinestra and others had been posting about various things/topics.

CIC cap updates are usually delayed by month or two.So this update is definitely not till date.To get more insight please check the last payment charged in the forum or our spreadsheet.It means NOC 2134 would have been filled in January itself.

Many Banks have special programs for Newcomers.....You just have to walk in and ask.....they usually are good for up to the first 2-3 years after landing. I know Scotia Bank has a Start Right Program where they give you an unsecured Credit Card and work with you to build your history. Here is an article that would hopefully be helpful to your specific situation.

I applied in skilled worker in dec 16 and I got my pakage back as I did not desxribe duties on experience certificate
Now I got my certificate with all duties I performed
Now I am reapplying should I fill all forms again or I send the old ones again.

NOC 2134 is cap reached today. CIC recieved my application last Jan29. I think I didn't make it. My hopes are down now.

Which NOC are you applying for? The CAP was updated today and NOC 2134 is now full, so please be aware before re-sending your application.

Here is my opinion. I don't think it is necessary to fill out all the forms again. As long as you are using the latest forms from CIC website ( http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp ) , then it should be just fine.

Please Note that the lastest updated form is the "Generic Application Form For Canada" which was last updated in November 2013 according to CIC website, so ensure that you are using this version before reapplying.
