Its should be hand written and if you dont find space over there then you can write in english and in other copy of the same form in your native language.

Hello All,

In form 5406 (addl family information) it says "Complete ALL names in English and in your native language."
I am using adobe acrobat pro and cant figure out how to type in native language even after installing the font on my system. The pdf is protected so cant export to MS office.
People who have already submitted the form have written the names by hand or typed?

I wrote by hand for native language, other things i typed in English.

Except for my own name, I used online babylon dictionary and translated family names from english to urdu. It did pretty well.

I forgot to write my name in native language and N/A in fee form section A, where it asks if the payer is someone else than you. One of the editor of the spreadsheet also forgot to write names in native language.

Just don't make tension your companion...AND nothing down the drain as of yet.

Panicked....I have the option of stopping the courier and delievered to my cousin in canada and he can complete the form and send it again within canada...or let it go as it is and pray.... inputs please

Native language is nothing. I have always written my name in english as the normal way. never has the form come back bcoz of that. So dont make an issue of native language as long as you have written in english its ok.

Hi All,
I am applying under noc 0211- Engineering Managers and already send my documents day before yesterday.
Now I doubt whether I have signed no children section in additional family information . Will this be a reason for rejection? My spouse is sure that she signed this section in her form.

It would probably be best to ask persons who are familiar with the NY VO, you could probably try asking your question in the Visa Offices in North America forum instead of here.

my application is still on its way to Sydney (currently in Montreal, cleared customs). Therefore, no info on receipt date ;-)
But...my Destination in Canada would be Toronto.

I'm currently in line 69.
