just want to share that

my file came back on 9-nov with letter dtd 17-sept
phrasing "additional family information form missing for spouse " although i had sent this and i have reapplied courier delivered 13-NOV 14.22

with present update in toward 3142, i feel no hope. will apply next year.

Dear forum members (particularly LVO / NDVO applicants):
yesterday I wrote an email to CIC minister (Mr. Alex), giving a suggestion to him that if LVO is too much occupied / over loaded - they better think to have our files transferred to some other visa offices or CPP-O.
Just got an automated email response from minister's office that his office would respond in 10 to 30 working days.
Most likely my email to him would be taken as garbage................but if we all (particularly LVO / NDVO and other slow visa offices applicants) write him, they may think for betterment.
I suggest we all should write to him, it will not harm anything.
Guys what do you say?

It seems that time to apply for FSW 2013 is finished. CIO is processing mid August applications these days. They have finalized 2800 complete applications in 4 1/2 months from May to mid August. It is quite possible that they will finalize remaining 2200 complete applications received during period mid August to mid November which means that applications received after mid November might not fall in total 5000 FSW CAP.

It is also interesting to know that which occupations are not going to reach their sub CAP of 300 due to the reason that total 5000 FSW CAP will reach first. There can be maximum 16 occupations which can actually be reached to their 300 sub CAP but it doesn't seem possible. I feel that maximum 12 occupations will reach to their sub CAP of 300 while remaining 12 occupations will remain partially filled at the time when total 5000 FSW CAP will reach.

CIC mentioned about free in-person assistance in PER email which might offered through invitation letter to applicants from certain parts of the world at the later stages of immigration application process. Though there are not much applicants who got their MR, PPR and Visa, I wonder if any applicant received such invitation letter?

Hi my name is Veejay, i have applied for 2147 and my application reached CIC on 30-08-2013, my calculated score is 69.
Y'day i received a reply from CIC that my application is still under intial processing and up to date my DD is not encashed.
Is there any chances of getting in!!!!
Am I in or out for this year!!!!

Do one need to stay consecutively for 6 months? or else 6 months in total in last 10 years.

It doesnt matter whether its last 10 yrs. If u go to a foreign country n stay for MORE THAN 6 months then u need a PCC from there. Ofcourse if u are on a visit visa there then u cant stay for more than 6 months. So hope its clear.

Very sorry to hear this the same thing happeneds to us one form went missing although our idiotCanadian consultant swore they supplied it and it was Cics negligence our only saving grace was the not so hot noc

I will be sending my application on 25 Nov and expect to reach 29 Nov , NOC 2263 . My Spouse ielts result will be out on 22 Nov

THE CAP filled IS 145 AND according to this forum , CIC is working on end august files, that means about 3 months pendency ,

While calculating average from may 5th till august end of 145 CAP - its 1.25 PER / day . and If we expect same for the rest three months Ie august end to Nov end iE 90 days x 1.25 = Apprx 113-115 more files will be added to cap when they will be start working on November end files.

This means 145+115 = The cap should be somewhere 260-270 when the operation of Nov end files by CIC for NOC 2263 will be in progress.

Should I count myself IN if I apply on 25th November or should I wait for next year

Please suggest , as I have done lot of hard work in gathering docs and don't want to get all in vain.

Send the application ASAP brother. You have put so much hard work behind it already and no one can assure your category will open next year. Its all upto CIC. Try your luck this time itself.

5000 or 3000 doesn't matter, how can we wake up those lazy Visa Offices? It is one kind of discrimination one part of people in the world getting visa early and other parts don't have any progress. It is really frustrating!!
